Rush Results Fall 2003!!
 

Hey everyone!! Since alot of GLO-specific forums have a thread just to post rush results. I thought that we should have a thread to post how we are all doing in fall recruitment!! :D So, how are you doing??

Good luck to all of the locals rushing this fall.:)

We had our first rush event on Thursday, and somewhere between 15 and 20 ladies showed up, it was awesome!!! I hope our next event is as popular.

My pledge class has 6 girls!

the girls start on monday. i am gonna go to check out the newbies. the recruitment chairs are my lil sis and my grand sis so i am certain that they will do a killer job. and its seems more organized this year so i am excited for them. more updates later.

Recruitment starts tonight for us. We're so excited, especially since we've had a lot more interested girls coming to us than in the past! We'll see how many come tonight...either way, we'll have fun. :)

we had about 14 tonight and hopefully expecting more this week. I am gonna go to bid day so i will give the final total then.

tonight was fun. the newbies seem really cool. we watched a video that my grandsis did to showcase last semester... made me totally miss everything. :( :D

Tonight is our prefs party...and we have about 11 girls invited. I'm really psyched about these girls...it's the biggest group we've had yet. We're only going through our fourth semester of campus-wide recruitment, and I'm quite proud. :)

We took 13. That is a nice non threatening number. ;) I get to see them all tomorrow afternoon for bid day tho.

Prefs went really well last night...we're planning on extending bids to 11 girls, tomorrow!

Awesome job guys! Those are great numbers and I know we're all going to have a great year!

Tonight was our Pref night, and we just gave bids to 14 wonderful girls! We haven't had numbers like this in MANY years, so we're all on cloud nine tonight! I also got my pick of a little sis, and I absolutely love her!

Rush started last week for us so I won't know how we did until the beginning of next week!

KLP participates at Panhellenic rush in my school. Fall rush is always small because Freshmen aren't allowed to rush in the first semester. There were only 7 girls who came to rush and we gave bids to 6 of them (the other girl was a complete nightmare to us). It's school policy that each girl gets at least one bid. Today was bid acceptance day, and I am very proud to say that we got 3 of the awesomest new members ever! Woo hoo! Congrats to our Alpha Alpha class! The totals are:

SSS- 3
Woo hoo! Tonight is the celebration! I am so excited! Congrats to everyone and their new members!

We had 9 girls accept bids and had our formal pledging ceremony on Monday. Yayyy!

We had about 40 interested ladies this semester!

32 of those came to our rush meetings. Tomorrow we're having a Meet-N-Greet where everyone can get to know each other better in a relaxed and informal setting.

We're very overwhelmed. lol... But in a good way! :) Our rush results get better every semester. We're more visible on campus, there's more of us to recruit... and perhaps it has to do with MTV... Whatever the case, it's amazing. Last quarter we pledged 10 ladies. I'm sure it will be more this time. Will let ya'll know after we hand out bids!!

Frustrated
 

We haven't even started rushing yet... I'm Rush Chair and it seems as if we haven't done anything yet! My pledge sisters does more in Phi Sigma Pi (the honors fraternity) than we've done in almost a year! It's frustrating, to say the least. I almost feel as if we aren't a real sorority sometimes because we never DO anything! I hate to seem pessimistic, but I'm getting to be really down about my sorority right now. I keep hearing about how much fun people are having and I'm doing so much work and not getting anything out of it! Once again, I'm sorry ladies, but I'm just really frustrated with our current situation. :(

Just wanted to share my excitment! We initiated our gamma line this weekend!! It was the most beautiful thing!

We now look forward to installing a Beta Chapter!

We just inducted our girls tonight! :D They're the greatest girls ever!!!

Alpha Gamma Gamma chose to give bids to 13 wonderful girls at rush this semester. I'm not sure how many (if any) girls were gotten through COB! Although I haven't met any of the girls, I trust in my sisters that they are all wonderful girls!!! Hopefully I'll meet them next time I go to Cali!!

We had 15 girls turn in applications!! Hopefull, all will meet the criteria and we can take all into our line process. I will tell me after approval night with my sisters.:D

I was curious to know how does everyone do they rush process. I know some sororities have a line process like mine has. Some have new member orientation. let me know.

We do Panhellenic recruitment and a regular New Member Orientation period like the rest of the sororities on campus.
