I admit, I like Nelly. I don't really like Chingy but I like the "Right Thurr" remix.

I could have sworn Nelly and Chingy were the same person....same clothes, same style, same repetitive beats you can interchange each of their lyrics with, i.e. matching the lyrics from EI and the music from Country Grammar and it matching perfectly, almost the same song even though it's taken from two different parts.

But I'll give it to Nelly, although he'll find any melody to sample from, he creates some good dance tunes.

However, I don't really listen to mainstream stuff anyway....

if they play some songs at the club..i'll dance.

outside of that, none of that hot garbage is about to make it in my CD player.

I plan to marry Nelly, so yea I like him. :D I'm not a big fan of Chingy though b/c that Right Thurr song is beyond annoying. :)

I like Nelly, Ride Wit Me will always have a special place in my heart-- reminds me of fraternity parties sophomore year. However, I'm so sick of Hot in Here, used to like it but it was overplayed.

Bone Thuggs 'n Harmony are by far the best rappers from the midwest.

I like Mid-West rappers even though I'm from "Down South"
I actually like Chingy, he's cute. I also like Right Thurr, it's one of my favorite club songs to dance to, especially since I learned how to do the "chickenhead":)

I am not "down" with a lot of rappers, especially the male ones. To me, nowadays, male rappers have turned into "ghetto rappers" and it drives me crazy. I wish they'd clean up their act, the way they dress, and the way they style their hair! Also, it makes no sense for these little kid rappers buying Bentleys and Rolls Royces when they, get this little shocker, CAN'T EVEN DRIVE!

Of course you meant to say, "Atmosphere and Eyedea are by far the best rappers from the Midwest."

And since that's what you meant, I totally agree with you - they're amazing.

The problem with Nelly is that, although he puts out some dope shit, some of his stuff sucks: I love you I need you Nelly I love you I do blah blah blah. That's just pure crap, but I love stuff like Pimp Juice and that Shake Ya Tailfeather song.

While I think some of their songs have good beats, I also think a lot of these artists (not just Nelly, Chingy) are the reason kids are developing poor language skills. Kids try to copy them and they just sound stupid.

I'm not laughing at Bone, I"m laughing that someone said they are/were the best rap group that came out of the midwest. Of course that is their opinion and I respect that, but I don't agree with that at all. I don't think that something has to be "mainstream" to be considered "the best." I know a lot of people on these boards have probably never heard of Atmosphere.

As for Nelly, I've never really liked him. I'm not saying he's not "hip hop" or not but I just don't like his style. It sounds like he is singing more than he is rapping. As for Chingy, he should have just named himself Nelly #2, I don't see a difference between either one of them.

Either of them are far better than Nelly, or Nelly Jr.

You can't compare Bone to Nelly or Chingy. That'd be like comparing Prime Rib to a beef chuck steak.
