Time line!!!!!!!

Timeline is going to rock the house!

I loved the book. I cannot wait to see it! I am pumped for it...

...YOUR the guy who likes Slamball aren't you? That show rocks!

Back to Timeline, I read the book soooo fast. I will be first in line at the movie.

bafromkc 08-26-2003 06:20 PM

That sailing movie with Russell Crowe also looks pretty good.

I just checked out the trailer for Timeline, it looks good.

I've also seen some previews for the sequel to Desparado, that looks good.

DZHBrown 08-26-2003 07:06 PM

The only movie preview I've seen that I'm interested in is Matchstick Men.

Yes, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Ed Harris are in Radio.

Runaway Jury is based on John Grisham's novel-- it stars Dustin Hoffman, John Cusack, Gene Hackman, and Rachel Weisz.

Return of The King
Harry Potter
The thrid Matrix

Some movies I wouldn't object to seeing:

Cold Creek Manor...I think that's it for now. Nothing else really appeals to me.

What's Timeline about?

Optimist Prime 08-28-2003 09:40 AM

Underworld looks stupid. Here is why: When vampires bite you, you are a vampire, when werewolves bite you, you are a werewolf. The movie is that some really old war between werewolves and vampires has been raging. Some one must have been bit and turned into some kind of werepire or something. That would be a better than goth kids pretending to kill each other.

Kevlar281 08-28-2003 10:42 AM

Open Range

bafromkc 08-29-2003 11:50 AM

I'm going to have to disagree with Optimist Prime. I think Underworld looks great, Kate Beckinsale (sp?) is smoking. It kinda reminds me of Blade which is one of the best action/vampire movies.

Saw Open Range that was good. Almost as good as seeing Britney kiss Madonna last nigth.

Yes, but we already had two Blade movies. Do we really need "Underworld" aka "Blade: The Remake"?

bafromkc 09-02-2003 02:59 PM

Underworld is not a remake of Blade, I said it reminds me of Blade but I don't think they are the same movie. Kate Beckinsale is going to be badass and hot at the same time. She is going to be way better then Wesley Snipes too. Also the warewolf/vampire battle adds a different dimention to Underworld. From what I've read it sounds like there is romance involved too. I think it looks real good.

MereMere21 09-02-2003 03:11 PM

Underworld AKA Blade 2 is just the guys revenge for us dragging them to Kate and Leopold

My husband still reminds me of that

sigirl 09-03-2003 11:19 AM

UNDERWORLD! definately...I love vampire, werewolf movies... not to mention they threw a little romance and some pretty decent CGI in there...

Return of the King -- I thought that now that I have one of my TTT DVDs that I'd be held over until December, but unfortunately the preview just left me wanting more.

Cold Creek Manor - I love Sharon Stone...and scary movies. The trailer scared me, I can only imagine what the movie's gonna do to me

AND LAST...

Anything Else - Looks so good. Christina Ricci's character's a major draw for me. I also tend to like a lot of Woody Allen movies too...

browncat 09-03-2003 06:52 PM

Underworld is awsome

What are you all talking about. Underworld is going to rock the house. It is going to be good. Yeah, K.B. is HOTTT. I also am pumped for ROTK. It will send Blade to the b-movie list. It is going to run circles around blade. IMO I would rather see K.B. than Wesley.

What's Timeline about?
check out this link:

http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf...406274&intl=us

its directed by Richard Donner, the guy who did Leathal Weapon and Goonies.

MeLikey 09-05-2003 12:05 AM

I just saw today that Paul Walker's in Timeline, so I have to see it! Under the Tuscan Sun looks kinda good too, but I think it's the trailer that makes it look good, with the music and all. I like the whole concept of her starting over.

Dejajeva 09-05-2003 02:40 AM

1. Haunted Mansion
2. Mona Lisa Smile
3. Return of the King
4. Gothika
5. Lost in Translation
6. Secondhand Lions
7. Underworld

I can't think of anything else, just yet.

bafromkc 09-05-2003 09:37 AM

I was just over on the movie page for yahoo and anyone who is doubting underworld needs to go check it out. they have a sweet trailer and some other cool pictures. if i ever got the chance, I would definitely propose to Kate Beckinsale.

one another note, how bout those redskins last night?

krazy 09-09-2003 11:16 AM

Kate is hot...

Yes, I want to say again that Kate is hot, (The Skins need a little work before they show their full potential.) I am actually looking forward to seeing underworld, I think it is going to be great.

ZTAngel 09-09-2003 11:21 AM

I really want to see Gothika. The trailers they've been showing on E! really look interesting!

bafromkc 09-09-2003 11:27 AM

ZTAngel-are you talking about that show Coming Attractions where they show all the previews? I love that show. Thats how I found out about Timeline, I saw the trailer on that show.

what is Gothika? Is that the one Hally Berry is in?

ZTAngel 09-09-2003 11:38 AM

I actually saw the trailer on E! News Live. It looks like a really scary movie!!!!

Gothika has Halle Berry, Penelope Cruz, and Robert Downey Jr.

Schmeer 09-09-2003 11:55 AM

lovelyivy84 09-09-2003 12:00 PM

Return of the King
Underworld

I am on a total sci fi kick of late. I am SO HAPPY that the genre is being revived. Yay Peter Jackson and the Blade franchise!

bafromkc 09-09-2003 12:18 PM

This article gives a good summary of all the new movies coming out.

http://www.thetimesonline.com/articl...970073b1ff.txt

I wish it had more stuff about Timeline.

MeLikey 09-10-2003 08:56 AM

The Human Stain-- Anthony Hopkins, Nicole Kidman, Gary Sinise, etc.

trideltgirl 09-10-2003 11:25 AM

i can't wait to see underworld. i've been a scott speedman fan since the early days of felicity. i still watch the reruns on W.E.
i also want to see anything else... jason biggs is hilarious and i don't think that i have seen a christina ricci movie since now & then, or maybe casper- i don't remember which came out first.
and what's this i hear about a new paul walker movie?

DZHBrown 09-10-2003 11:46 AM

Cold Creek Manor looks interesting

bafromkc 09-10-2003 12:29 PM

trideltgirl-there is a new paul walker movie and it doesn't involve fast cars or high schools. he is in Timeline with Gerard Butler. the movie is based on the book by Michael Crichton. it looks really cool.

I love Scott Speedman too, and I too watch the re-runs on W.E. Scott's also in another movie coming out in October called My Life Without Me. I actually met Scott back when the show was starting.

MeLikey 09-10-2003 11:34 PM

I never really paid attention to the Anything Else commercials because I don't really care for Christina Ricci, but I saw one before and it looks pretty funny.

bafromkc 09-15-2003 04:44 PM

I really like the tag line of the new Timeline poster.

http://www.allposters.com/gallery.as...earch=Timeline
