Just thought I'd open up a thread where people can post Fall Recruitment results. Have there been any early numbers?

This just in....

Omicron Chapter (Missouri) pledged quota of 66 amazing new members. Whooppiiieee!!! It's so great to see all their hard work pay off!

Iota Zeta Chapter (Colorado School of Mines) pledged quota of 12 fabulous new women!!! Way to go ladies! We are super impressed and so happy for you.

What a fabulous way to start off rush season!

At Wichita State, Gamma Xi, 15 were bid, quota was 16. I know at least one girl has dropped though, so as far as I know, my pledge class is 14!

Washington State pledged quota of 33 plus 3!!

Hello to all!

Fresh on the GC scene and understand that introductions are in order. My name is Amanda. I pledged as a junior at TxTech, Fall 94. Go Gamma Iota! Currently, I serve on the Advisory Board of Gamma Eta (University of North Texas).

Now onto the important stuff...Pref was last night. All the ladies looked fabulous. The chapter took quota plus one and everyone is so proud of all the hard work. The girls are in the midst of a wild and crazy bid day, as I type...and school starts Monday. Looks like we're off and running again!

There are 4 chapters on campus and Alpha Phi is one of two chapters to make quota.

Beta Epsilon, University of Arizona, pledged quota of 60 outstanding new members. The chapter really shined during recruitment and we are so proud!!!!! Wooohooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gamma Iota, Texas Tech University, pledged quota (51) plus 3 fantabulous new members!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go ladies! We know their amazing website by none other than our own Tech A Phi helped lead them to their amazing success!

Theta Zeta chapter have now gone over total!! We gave out 13 bids today (quota is 15), which puts us currently at 46!!! Just for reference, total is 40. We have some really amazing girls and I am so excited!!!!!! Oh yeah, and congrats to everyone else this Recruitment!!!!

One of the lovely new Phis is the daughter of one of our most active alums. Her mom was also a Phi at Texas Tech!

Edited to add the following: Thanks for the compliments, Laura, on the site. I think it showcases the chapter well. We got over 200 unique hits to the site every day of rush, which shows the need for a strong website for every chapter. The Texas Tech ladies are incredible women all around and they just keep getting better! :-)

We gave out another bid towards quota this evening at the Panhellenic Meeting, which brings us to 47!!!!!! We haveone more bid that counts towards quota, so more updates soon!!! I heart Alpha Phi!!!

Okay, so my wonderful A-Phi pledge sister Amanda talked me into this board. Thanks, gal!

I pledged at Tech in Fall '94 and I am an advisor at Texas A&M-Commerce. Their pref was last night, and while I couldn't make it (a five month old wouldn't cooperate--go figure), I know they did great. Their returns were top all week, and they wanted each of the 20 girls on their pref invite lists. Since quota is 9, they are surely getting some great women. I'll give the exact update when I hear it.

Anyway, excited to be here!

Theta Lambda, CMSU took 7 and quota was 9.They were very excited.I believe that Upsilon, Washburn is next weekend Sept 5-7.I think that several alumnae,myself included-schedule permitting,are going to Topeka to help out.

So...Our bid day is not until tuesday but I had to share the most exciting news early!! Out of the 580 women we saw on Saturday our return rate this morning was 99 % we only had one regret!!!! I have never been more excited to be a part of alpha phi! My women have put on the most amazing rush, I am so proud of them! I will keep all of you updated! Can you hear me jumping up and down? :D

Quota at ASU was 44 - and the ASU Phis made quota!

Beta Pi, University of Southern California matched 55 amazing new members. The weekend was long a grueling, but the result was outstanding! Way to go ladies!!!!!!!!!

Theta Zeta is about to burst at the seams!

We gave out our last bid today. This will the the last pledge class I will ever initiate as a sister. :(

AstroPhi: Think of it this way. Once you're an alum you'll proudly watch all chapters as they initiate new members! And, if you become involved in working with a chapter you can be a part of their successes.

I've worked with Texas Tech as an advisor for five years and I feel a part of their successes. And, in fact, cherish them all the more! :)

I know. :) It's just that I've been Guard or Chaplain for the last 2 years, so initiation is something that means a great deal to me. When things don't seem to be going right with Alpha Phi, I just think of our beautiful ceremony and it makes me see things in a new light.

Delta Xi, University of Nebraska Kearney, pledged quota +1 for 29 amazing new members! Keep up the great work!

Theta Sigma, Southern Utah, pledged 13 outstanding new members in their Recruitment and continues to recruit through COB. Way to go ladies!

Theta Upsilon at Cal State Chico rushed #1 for the third year in a row and got quota +1 for 23 super new members! There still may be 1 or 2 COB bids but that remains to be seen. I am so proud of my new house!!!

San Jose State matched quota (14) + 1 for 15 new members. I also believe they rushed # 1 or 2.

the women of the Eta Xi Chapter at UNCW reached quota at 23 and we have a wonderful group of new girls!! we even got a legacy whose sister is the current president at the Alpha Phi chapter at Applachian State in North Carolina. (this is awesome b/c we normally dont get Alpha Phi legacies down here)

also, one of our older sisters who is now an Alumna is an ELC for Alpha Phi International......so if you meet an ELC named Taylor who's from Virginia (but went to UNCW) she's a great friend of mine and wonderful sister!

Lambda, University of California Berkeley, pledged quota of 24 specatuclar new members!!! Go Bears!

Nu, University of Nebraska, Lincoln, pledged auota (38) plus 4 for 42 wonderful new members. Yeah!

Upsilon, Washburn University, pledged quota of 14 and COB'ed 4 for 18 amazing new members so far. Way to go!!!

Beta Alpha, University of Illinois-Urbana Champaigne, pledged quota (52) plus 3 for 55 outstanding new members. Woohoo!

Gamma Kappa, Cal State University Long Beach, pledged quota (34) plus 2 for 26 fantastic new members. Way to show everyone that the west is best!

Delta Gamma, University of Northern Colorado, pledged quota of 21 amazing new members and COB'ed 2 to become the only chapter at UNC at Total. Way to rock the rockies ladies!

Zeta Epsilon, Indiana University Southeast, pledged quota of 4 and is proceeding with COB. We are very proud of their continued efforts to recruit women into the system!

Eta Sigma, Lafayette College, pledged quota of 17 amazing new members!

Eta Theta , San Francisco State University, matched quota with 19 beautiful new members! I am so excited for my girls! They did an AMAZING job! :D

Iota Delta at URI got quota of 17. It was a long week for me as the RA, although I think I lost a few pound from all the meals I forgot to eat. Thanks again to Stacey for all of her help during the week. :)
