Greek Family
 

Please bear with me, I proud to report that my son was initiated into Sigma Alpha E psilon last night. How is this for family "diversity"? I'm a Sig Ep, His mother is a DG, my sister-in-law is a DG, my two sisters are Tri-Delta, one Brother-in-law is a KA and the other is a Sigma Nu

That's really cool! I wish there were more Greeks in my family!

You and your wife should start working on making a baby girl, so she can be a lil' legacy and go DG!! :D

Well, or she could go to a different GLO and increase the diversity even more!

I hope I have a little girl "when I grow up" so she can be a double legacy (my mother and myself)!! And then if she has a lil' girl...am I getting too far ahead of myself now? ;)

I am the only greek in my family as far as I know. :)

Well, I have enuff relatives so to speak as I have Brothers in My Chapter and other Chapters from all over!:)

Especially one at LSU! Now!:cool:

I'm the only greek in my family. Having a mom who went to school overseas and a dad who's anti-greek (:() will do that to ya.

No social greeks in my husband's side of the family, but he and his dad are Masons and he's in a couple of professional fraternities.

One of these days, hopefully, I'll have a little girl who'll grow up and join AEPhi! (Well, I'll be happy with whatever she chooses, as long as it's home for her. And as long as it's AEPhi. :p )

I'm the only greek in my immediate family, but my aunt is an Alpha Epsilon Phi from U of Alabama!

My sister's a Delta Gamma and my cousin's a Kappa Alpha Theta... that's the only one I know of.

Uncle was in a Fraternity in the Phillipines: Beta Kappa Epsilon

Cousin will be in an Asian sorority at Long Beach: Kappa Psi Epsilon

I am a Delta Sigma Phi

It's great having all those ASA's in the family!

My mom was in a local when she was in college. My dad didn't go away to college so he lived his greek days vicariously (sp?) through my sister and me!

Me: Chi Omega
Brother: Sigma Chi
Mom: Kappa Kappa Gamma
Dad: Delta Sigma Phi

Not that many, but it's all of us in the immediate family. Hopefully my little niece will go greek. I already bought her a Chi O t-shirt!

Mom: went to a non-Greek school
Sister: Phi Mu
Her Husband: Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia
Brother: not Greek (his wife went to a non-Greek school)

Her Mom: Pi Beta Phi
Her Sister: Zeta Tau Alpha

Add to that a grandfather (no longer living) who was a Beta, an uncle who is a Beta, an uncle who is an Alpha Tau Omega, a cousin who is a Theta and a cousin-in-law who is a Sinfonian.

That's 9 fraternities/sororities altogether, with 3 Sinfonians!

My cousin's a Chi Omega. My father was a Phi Sigma Delta (a fraternity which no longer exists; I believe they merged into ZBT).

aunt( on my mom's side):Sigma Gamma Rho

I am a Zeta Tau Alpha. My son is a Kappa Sigma and my husband is a Phi Kappa Sigma. He loves to tell our son "There's no Kappa Sig like a Phi Kappa Sig"!

I'm a Kappa Delta, my great grandma was a Kappa Alpha Theta, and my aunt was a Chi Omega *all at the same school*. Those are the only greeks in my family, but I'm working on getting my brother interested :).
