Word to the wise from someone who worked in a video store:

1) If the VHS tape ISN'T black, the movie is probably one you never heard of or just complete crap. Only exception was Payback con Mel Gibson

2) If you didn't hear about it in theaters (of course I mean the current new releases, DON'T RENT IT.

Another nomination for "The Debut". That was the most stereotypical movie about Filipino culture I've ever seen, nothing but horrible cliches. Maybe it might be because the Ben character reminds me so much of myself, and I experienced a lot of the same stupid shit he did, like being confronted by wannabe gang bangers who show their true colors in front of their parents.

Haha, no Groundhog Day wasn't a typo... I remember it was on someone's list, maybe yours? for movies people should see... I just thought it was awful... just my opinion.

Scooby Doo is up there as well. There was one moment in the film worth watching: a shot of the van with smoke pouring out of the top and Scooby w/ whats-his-face giggling their heads off in the sound track. Hard-core classic cartoon fans will get that one.

i disagree, american psycho 2 is the worst movie ever.

That was a bad movie. Never seen Cabin Boy, so can't comment on that.

Haven't seen it, but if it's worse than Cabin Boy, I'll make sure I don't.

Cabin Boy is not the worst movie ever...another movie about boats, "Gone Overboard" with Adam Sandler is.

And WTF was that craptastic movie with Freddie Prinze Jr and Matthew Lillard that was based on the video game from the '80's? My friend made me go see it in the theater because the preview for Star Wars Episode 1 was before it. Luckily I made him pay for it because I knew it was going to be horrible but he didn't have anyone else free to go with him.

Freddy Prinze Jr. needs to stop. Every movie he's starred in has sucked; they've ALL gotten horrible reviews, have done medicore at the box office at best, and I want my hour and a half back for She's All That.....

Just cause you have looks and your dad was who he was doesn't mean you can have starring roles in movies, robbing more deserving people who look just as good as you.
