Tri Delta rush results 2003
 

Feel free to post rush results for Tri Delta, plus any GC PNMs who go Tri Delta (although traditionally there aren't many of them :( ).

Mississippi State: Tri Delta made quota, which was 65. All of the six sororities there made quota this year -- sounds like a strong Greek system.

Auburn: Tri Delta got 56 new members. I think quota was 55 which puts us at quota +1. :)

Southern Miss: meridionaleDG estimates that Tri Delta pulled in 26. Quota was 29. She knows they did not make quota (although they didn't miss by much) and everyone was surprised because they are traditionally a strong chapter.

Any more?

yes i have noticed there are not many tri delts on gc either...what gives?? :( we have not gone through rush yet, we have another 4 weeks before we do.....

I have no clue why there aren't many of us. It's the same thing with Kappa Alpha Theta -- a strong sorority nationally, but very few of them who post on GC. We need more of us, lol! :D

I agree!! I tried to get my chapter up here but it didn't work. MaryPoppins17 is from my chapter but she only posted maybe 5 times. How can we get the word out?

Just wanted to let you know that the University of Iowa Tri-Delts took quota + 1 = 35 New Deltas. Congrats!!! Theyre a great bunch of women :)

i know LSU's tri-delta took quota, which was 76. a lot of groups got quota plus, but i don't know the specifics. but you have AT LEAST 76 new girls from LSU!

i can't believe all of your schools already have completed rush!!!! i'm still at cross country camp praying everyday for school to start so i won't have to run 3 times a day!!

but i promise, as soon as i get our numbers, i'll post.

i'm getting my computer at school tomorrow, so i'll be more vocal on gc again- it just took too much effort to walk to the computer lab during camp.:p

Well I have heard Tulsa Tri Delts missed quota by 1, but hopefully they will exceed it as now COB has started. I am amazed at how small the numbers are getting in recent years! Quota was only 12!!

Recruitment begins on Oct 2 and ends on Oct 6 here at Ole Miss. This year is Tri Delt at Ole Miss' 100 anniversary. They did leave the university in the 1920s because all GLOs had to leave but they are SO STRONG! Two of my best friends were Tri Delts here....their house is amazing! I am sure they will make quota...they have about 230 girls right now!

Why??? I'm curious. :)

The University of Mississippi in hopes of making the university a more "academics first" place, had all sororities and fraternities leave. It wasn't because they weren't doing well, it was something that was mandatory by the university and then in the early 1920s they came back, along with Chi Omega and some other GLOs.

Rush results for my chapter should be up on Sunday! We just finished Pref Night tonight, and it went amazingly well.

Tonight is our first all greek info night. The school is making us do things VERY different this year, and the greeks are none to happy (and niether is this Panhel Recruitment Chair cause they lost all our files:mad: ....but that is another story).

I can't WAIT for our info night on Thursday!!!! I LOVE RUSH WEEK (even if I am going to hurt someone by the end of it)

I'll update on next Tues- our bid day.
We can COB up to 11 girls, and I hope we take 11!!!

Good News and Bad News
 

Ok, so the good news is the Alpha Alpha chapter has 9 amazing new members. That's the biggest fall class they've had since Adelphi switched to deferred rush in 98. :)

The bad news is over the summer the east coast had so much rain that all the Greek suites were flooded. They lost everything including funiture and ritual equipment. So it looks like these girls won't be having a real initiation. :(

FINALLY- some new from Gamma Omega at Stockton College!!!

We have defered recriutment, so we COB'd 11 WOMEN!!!!!!! so we are once again at total(55). and we had to turn down sooo many girls, we had 35 eligible women come to our info night.
but the best news is, MY ROOMMATE GOT A BID!!!!!!!! it was touch and go for awhile, cause she wasn't on the first list, but someone declined a bid (she thought we weren't for her). I started JUMPING up and down at work when the selection committee called me at work to get my roommie's cell #.
and I also have the BEST little!!!

YEAH TRI DELTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have more new GC Deltas to add to our family!
