for those of you pageant fanatics out there, Miss Teen USA is on at 8pm EST on NBC.

The Miss Teen Wisconsin USA is from Madison, and a couple of my sorority sisters know her from high school. (She went to a high school across town -- not mine.) I'm not sure if we'll see her coming through UW-Madison rush this year or not . . .

Let's cheer on my friend ALICIA, Miss Teen TN!!!

She made it to the top 15!!!

I would love to be watching this but Ive gotta be watching the OC I think Im going to be addicted to that show now :) ya better lemme know who wins though :)

I really hope that Oregon wins. So far she seems to be the only one who is genuinely happy to be there. The rest of the girls all seem bored or have plastered on smiles.

anyone else think that jeesica simpson didnt sound too great tonight? she couldnt hit those high notes very well especially at the end. her nerves got in the way. and i thought she was sticking out of her dress too much. oh i am terrrible. it is just lately jessica has been annoying me lately with her 'i am married so i can freely be a sex vixen and not feel too guilty cause of my baptist upbringing':rolleyes:

I don't think Jessica can actually sing, so it's not surprising that she sounded so bad tonight.

I thought Miss Massachusetts seemed very poised and classy in her mini-interview. And she wants to be the next Katie Couric -- she's clearly a Tri Delt in the making. :) Oregon and Tennessee seemed very cute and sweet. I was pulling for Michigan until she shamelessly admitted that her favorite singer was Celine Dion.

Kddani ~ I actually thought some where along those lines. Based on their bios, I think many of these girls would be a real asset to any organization.

Miss Oregon and Tennessee were both really good choices; either way they couldn't go wrong.

I was so happy Miss Oregon won! Like Beta Rose said, she seemed like the only one who was excited to be there. She was too cute!

And I felt special because I've known Miss Michigan for years. We used to do theatre together. Our community theatre group held the monthly board meeting at the president's house just so they could watch her! I'm such a dork -- when they showed the home video of her jumping in her pool I was like "I've been in that pool!" lol

Actually, I'm 99% sure Miss Massachusetts is already in a sorority at Boston U. I believe she's a DG, but I'm not totally sure. I remember seeing here a bunch of times last year, and my girlfriend remembers seeing her go through rush.

Miss Oregon will be a good rep for the sponsors. That crown is quite something.
