Well, I'll be passing through Columbus on the way to O.U. Homecoming the weekend of Oct. 11. It's centrally located. Worth a shot?

Well, that would give me plenty of time to plan a trip to Columbus. I'm up for it, but not familiar with Columbus, so all you Southern Ohio ladies and gents can pick a place!

Columbus sounds good! Maybe that Sunday....since our homecoming is that weekend too and we'll have stuff that friday and saturday. I'm up for it and i'm sure my two chapter sisters that are on here would be up for it too! Let me know what y'all think!

Delt Alum you would chose the one weekend that i want to be at OU :) i think it would be ok. i would prefer the sunday of that weekend too. where in Columbus would we meet?

Anybody know where Dublin is? It's a suburb of Columbus and that's where my hometown is. I go home every 4-6 weeks so I think I can make it on that day! By the way, any nothern Ohio greeks in here? Kent State all the way!

i kno where dublin is! some of my chapter siters are from that area. i'm a southern ohio greek though.

I love Easton! We should meet there! They have tons of stuff to do and some pretty good shopping, too! ;)

Not only know where it is, Mrs. DeltAlum taught Theatre, Speech and English at Dublin High School for several years in the early 70's just after we were married.

Her sister and Brother in law live in Murifield Village. Her brother lives in Worthington Hills.

Sunday would be the best day for me since I'll be in Athens Friday and Saturday.

Don't know where the Cheesecake Factory is, but it sounds OK to me.

Yep, The Cheesecake Factory is in the Easton Mall. :)

DeltAlum- It's super easy to find :) It's in one of the nicest "outdoor malls" around.

It sounds like a Cool Idea, but unfortunately, I won't be able to go. you should think about having one here in Cleveland for a future GC Gathering.

Seeing as Columbus is only 2 1/2 for me, as long as I don't have plans already, I'll be there!

Hey, I know where it is, believe it or not. I pass it on the way from the airport to the inlaws or my Dad's house.

Can't remember who started the thread, but maybe he/she would like to set a time for that Sunday, 10/12?

By the way, that's the original Columbus Day -- although it's celebrated on Monday this year.

And I promise to be nice and not take any cheap shots at any of the other MAC schools.

cheesecake factory at easton sounds great! it's on the west side of Columbus, right? this came together absurdly fast :)

SigTau.. there are some Akron ladies coming down, and I'm from Canton. No excuse!

I better not catch you taking any cheap shots at other MAC schools....considering I go to one :p But hey I'm sure I can throw some out about another certain MAC school too! ha ha :D

Sunday, Oct. 12 at Noon works for me. It even allows me to sleep in just a bit in case I might have a drink or two the night before.

All this excitement, just to be snuffed out by responsibility. I've got a prior commitment that day, and since I'm kind of in charge of the meeting I can't blow it off for GC :). I may be able to stop by for a few minutes early, but I'm not holding my breath.

I've noticed that everytime I've eaten there (regardless of size) we were seated quickly. Hopefully we'll luck out :) Heck, they have an outdoor patio, we'll just take over that if it's not to chilly.:D

I just need somebody to split a slice of cheesecake with me, any takers?? :p

whatever you want to do! i've never actually dirven ot Columbus from Athens but i figure that if i can drive 3 hours from Athens to CIncinnati then the trip to columbus shouldn't be too bad. this is going to be fun!!!!!

edited to add: Kayla i just realized why your letters looked so familiar! when Phi Mu colonized at OU in 1927 they colonized through a local called Kappa Gamma Delta!
