GLO's with only 2 letters........
 

are soooo much cooler than the 3 letter counterparts.

I mean, we get our points across using less letters, and there's something to be said for clairty and brevity of messages.

Don't even get me started on SAEII, all those letters? who can make sense of that? And you'd better be a broad shouldered gal or your letters on your pledge jersey are gonna go halfway around your back.

So, simply put, those that get it done it 2 are cooler,

Well shirts with two letters were less expensive than shirts with three letters when I was in school. I guess that's cool. :p

Well, I don't know if 2-letter GLOs are cooler or not, but it's much faster to make shirts with two letters instead of three!

Kitso, I definitely agree. We are cooler. :cool: You see, that's why the GLO's with more than two letters abbreviate their name to two letters. :p :D ;) I won't give examples, but think about it. :cool:

i went to a greek store where it was cheaper to have a two letter shirt made. I kinda like that discount :)

I won't argue with 2 letters being cooler than 3 :cool: After all when I wear shorts with my letters on the butt I don't have one getting lost in the...uh middle. ;)

Um, I wont have that problem. Wearing my letters on my butt on a 'cute pair of shorts' is likely to get my ass rolled in a parking lot by several of my brothers.

I abbreviate to Lambda Chi simply from lazyness.

I'm not quite sure why, when I first started reading this thread, I thought to myself "Wahoo, another chance to flame Kitso!!!" (;)) and was gonna start getting defensive....At which point I realized... Sigma + Kappa = two letters. Uh, duh Amy... :rolleyes: Oh well, for once I GUESS I agree with Kitso... We two-letter-ers are the coolest :p

Although I have to agree...I must say that 4 letter GLO's irritate me more than I think 2 letter GLO's are cool. Like SAEII: that crap was so long they just had to call themselves "sigma". It's crap. :D :D

If I were to wear letters on my butt and one of them got "lost in the valley" - it would read Alpha Phi. Hey, it's not their fault they forgot the epsilon... :p

Personally, I have always been partial to the two letter orgs...

On a related note, my sister's track team had shorts made up that said "BOING" across the butt (you know, like the Nike commercial -- but don't even get me started on how weird it is to have BOING written on your butt) . . . but the I sometimes got lost in the valley and it looked like the shorts said BONG.

Naturally, high schoolers LOVED them.

Back to the topic at hand: GLOs with one letter are better than those with two! (And yes, I realize that Delta Delta Delta is technically three letters . . . but really, it is also just one letter three times ;) .)

Gamma Chi, Eta Chi, Zeta Chi, or any other GLO formed on the Chit Chat thread.

Gamma Chi was a big trend on GC a while back. Some people took it really seriously as an attempt to start an online GLO, and others took it as a big joke. Drama ensued, and the whole thing just went away. Here's a link to one of the many threads on the topic.
