Anyone seen the Slamball show on Spike? I think that is the coolest thing I have ever seen. The guys in my frat used to watch it all the time last year, and we would go to the house w/ a couple of beers and tune in. It is funny as crap. These guys are playing basketball and they are allowed to tackle each other. They are constantly knocking each other around. It rocks the house. Y'all should check it out.

That channel is going to have a show called Ride with Funkmaster Flex (yes, the best DJ period!!!) later this month. It is like MTVcribs for cars. There are supposed to be some dope-ass cars on that show.. Yeah, props to Slamball!

I saw it one night and thought it was the best idea ever. It gives vertically challenged guys like me a chance to dunk, only i have to rework my basketball court to contain multiple trampolines. The highflying dunks ad blocks are awesome. The showdown or whatever where two go head to head to score or block is amazing. This is genius!

I am pumped about Slamball starting tonight. I am ready to see some moutherf*c^ers get f-ed up. Some buddies of mine are coming over to watch, we are going to have to figure out some drinking games to play while we watch it.

That show is unbelievable!!!! I love it. A Case of PBR, a bag of boiled peanuts, and Slamball. Does it get any better? I don't think so.

Hey SteeplePike... I assume from your sig. that you are a runner... did you catch USATF Nats on TV? What is tougher... Slamball or the 10k? Hard decision to make there!!!

Dudes, my buddies and I got so wasted watching Slamball last night. We didn't figure out any games to play unless you call pounding two and a half cases of Beast while watching the Bouncers kick the $hit out of the Raiders. Slamball is great but I feel like a$$ right now, I'm going back to bed.

Trying out for Slamball would be a lot of fun. I saw some tryouts on "The Road to Slamball" and a $hit load of people came out for them. Good luck though dude. I can't wait for this week's games. I gotta check the website to see who is playing.

OK, I saw this show once and it cracked me up! It's so ridiculous it's funny...all the boys on one of the floors I'd hang out on watched it and drank.

more like ridiculously great! did you not like the show? i can't think of a better show to watch while sitting around drinking. I was just checking the website and there are games on both Saturday and Sunday nights while the new games are played on Mondays at 11. Looks like I've got something to do the next few nights!

I'm probably the only girl on the planted that likes Slamball...

Mr.sigirl and I watch it all the time...he loves it...says it's a good way to kill time b/w basketball seasons :) I used to think it was really stupid, but it's def grown on me.

I saw the previews for Funkmaster Flex's new one last night while we were watching slamball actually....that looks pretty good...anyone remember when it starts?

sigirl-I don't think you are the only girl who likes Slamball. It has become a ritual at our apartment before we got out on Sat. nights to get hammered watching slamball. We had some girls over this past saturday and I think they liked watching it. We kinda made a game up where you have to drink everytime someone scores. Its a little more complicated then that, so maybe I'll enlighten you all sometime later.

I think I do remember seeing commercials for the Flex show. It starts this saturday the 16th I think. That show looks pretty sweet too.

We have a "Slamball Night" at a local bar near our frat house every saturday. We watch the re-play of the monday game. It is so much fun, the KD girls come and watch it with us!!! Shout out to my KD Slamball girls!!!!! Anyway, We prob'ly pound 500 cold beers between the whole group. The bar loves us. We are pretty crazy though. Last time we were hanging upside down from the beams on the porch. They asked us to leave. It's ok though, we were invited back this weekend. I am saving a bottle of "Knob Creek" for the final game. I am so pumped for this saturday!!!!!!!!!!!! Our Pledges have to get us beers for the monday night game, we usually drink good beer on mondays.

I remember someone mentioning that new Funkmaster Flex show on Spike tv in this thread. It starts this saturday night and it looks like a good show to watch. I have been looking for something to watch before Slamball. Anyway, I saw this article on the internet, check it out it talks about Flex's show.

I have actually seen Funkmaster Flex twice now, it is really a great show. I thought it would be stupid, but I enjoyed it. I think that it takes the fun of cribs, but goes into greater detail. I like the fact that it doesn't jump around like cribs, cribs only shows the picture for like two seconds. It is so annoying, it is like they are trying to give subliminal messages.
