Post your Beta House pics here. I have seen 16 houses in my day, and I think it would be great for us to post some pics of Beta Houses across the US and Canada. Post away:

I just wanted to say that the BSU house is (obviously) comparitively smaller than the other houses, but rest assured- - it is absolutely BEE-U-TEE-FUL!!! :D

Beta Psi represent'n!!!

We have a very large house, which was built in 1929 for $750,000. If any undergrads or Beta alumni are in the Morgantown WV area, come up to 225 Belmar Ave and stop by.

You can see my room in the WVU house.

Third floor left tower currently, right above the main door last year.

Um, I don't know how to add a picture on here, so here's the link to our website that has TONS of pictures: www.sjsubeta.com or just http://sjsubeta.com. One of those will work... GO BETA!

Here you go brother. All you have to do, is right click on the picture on your website, go to properties, copy the URL of the picture and paste it in the IMG button of the GreekChat when posting:

Our lodge is pretty sweet. The backyard is even better...I wish we had some pics of that. You can check out more pics of the house and see what's going on at the http://www.orgs.ttu.edu/betathetapi

Coramoor 03-03-2004 07:11 PM

Have you ever visited the chapter in Corpus Cristi?

I have some family down there and visit quite often and I'd like to check that chapter out. Do they have a house or anything?

ZZ-kai- 03-04-2004 12:31 PM

Not too sure if they have a house, the greek system is small there. Beta, Phi Delt and Sig Ep...thats all they have for fraternities.

Here is their site:

When this house was built, it was in the record books for most levels in a residential house. This isnt the best picture of it, but this is a beautiful building

I've only seen a few Beta houses in person but I think that overall it looks like Beta Theta Pi has amazing properties. The Ole Miss, Beta Beta Chapter, has a very nice chapter house. They have been doing lots of improvements and lots of renovations in the past two years.

Sorry to crash, but here is a photo of the Beta House at University of Washington

This is the Beta house at University of British Columbia, in construction (was just over in the area last night)
http://www.betaubc.ca/images/stories...nstruction.jpg

Details
Our brand new $2 million, 10,000 sq ft house is ready for fall residence. Plan now to live in the BETA house for the 2005/2006 academic year. Single rooms and double rooms available, full time cook, study/computer room, internet, utilities, FREE parking, laundry facilities and more…. all minutes away from the centre of campus. Rooms have custom made high end wood desks, wardrobes, beds and bookcases. Rent is cheaper than UBC residence and our location is ideal. Located 100 metres east of University Blvd at 2140 Wesbrook Mall, it is an easy 5 minute walk to all main campus buildings and athletic facilities.

I have to agree -- U of I's beta house is BEAUTIFUL. I'd post a pic but I'm on my friend's mac and I don't know how to get pic URLs... but University of Washington has a sweet one as well, I used to hang out there a couple of years ago.

uofikappadelta 10-18-2005 09:25 AM

Just kidding I missed page 2 and that it'd already been posted :)

Coramoor 10-18-2005 12:36 PM

I so wish we could get a new house here at WVU. Ours is almost 80 years old. It's really distinctive, but we need some major upgrades.

I think I would like to keep basically the same look, but just make everything a little larger, have an open basement, and add an additional wing on the back to house more people.

a.e.B.O.T. 10-18-2005 03:12 PM

you should try to fundraise for it, ask alumni, etc.

ZZ-kai- 10-18-2005 03:14 PM

Just be thankful you guys have the houses you do! We have only been around like 13 years, and still rent a normal college house (well, so do all the greeks here)....see pic. above for the Oshkosh house.

Our chapter would KILL for a house like any of the ones in this thread....

a.e.B.O.T. 10-18-2005 04:46 PM

See, Denison has a weird situation. All fraternities were kicked out of their houses in 1995. So, we dont live in our house, freshman do. The fraternity owns the house and rents it, so we are still allowed to have our letter own it, but we can not live in the house, and well, it blows. We would give our left leg for that opportunity. Instead, along with the rest of the campus, we live in dorm rooms. The school will not allow anyone to rent houses off campus. Sometimes it kind of feels like Big Brother (and I mean that in the Orwell sense, not the fraternity sense)

On a side note, both of your houses look kick ass, even if it is rented.

jcbeta07 10-18-2005 08:04 PM

LOL, SIDE NOTE ;
Can you guys tell which one of these houses is in california with out looking at the names . . . .haha . . . funny shit, but thats what i called home for two years!

(so typical)lol

ZZ-kai- 10-19-2005 08:39 AM

UCSB we assume? How many guys did that hold? Rented or owned?

jcbeta07 10-19-2005 02:05 PM

yup yup,
Well it has 12 doubles, one HUGE triple, and three singles (including the presidents room) . . .its currently filled to capacity. And its rented . . .It's a fairly newer house, actually there are four houses BETA, ATO, AEPHI, AND THE OLD FIJI HOUSE, which are all on the same block and are all owned by some really old rich guy.I so wished we owned though , I think rent is something like 14,000 $$$ for the house ! ! ! (per month)

a.e.B.O.T. 10-20-2005 12:05 AM

how much does that come out per person...

aww, to live in a house, that must be awesome

jcbeta07 10-20-2005 11:06 AM

uhmm, well . . .I think when I lived in last year it was something like 550-650 to share a room and a couple hundred more for a single . . . Indeed, an experience to say the least . . .

a.e.B.O.T. 10-20-2005 03:07 PM

-ignore this, im just stupid-

sdbeta1 10-20-2005 06:44 PM

14,000/month split 30 ways would come out to 467 each. so i would say it is safe to assume it was per month.

a.e.B.O.T. 10-20-2005 08:02 PM

well, i could of done the math, but I was just too damn lazy

Does anyone else wish that our nationals had a little nicer of a house?

I've been there like four or five times, but it really doesn't seem that much larger than your average frat house. Hell, I think that my house is about the same size, minus the chapel.
