NFL Training Camps Have Begun: Predictions Please!

Who are your favorites for the AFC and the NFC?
Predictions for SuperBowl 2004?

SkeeWee14 07-31-2003 10:36 PM

Philly Eagles

I'm a total Eagles fan (Donovan McNabb is UMM UMM GOOD) so I think they are going to take it this year. Due to the fact that I'm also a Georgia peach, I will be just as happy with Vick and the Falcons.

RedefinedDiva 07-31-2003 10:47 PM

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS!!!

Aaron got his shoulder fixed. Donte, Duece, Joe, and Michael are ready to roll. The defense got tweaked a little bit, so they should be ready to do some serious blocking. This is our year!!!

AKA2D '91 07-31-2003 10:59 PM

I am behind you all the way!!!! I love the Saints and the NFL but I can't stand another season of the Saints shooting themselves in the foot. Come on Saints!!!!

Questions404 08-01-2003 02:59 PM

Go Falcons.

Steeltrap 08-01-2003 03:13 PM

I'm a San Diego Chargers fan, but I can appreciate the QB down in Atlanta.

Heck NO...lol! I think the brother is FINE TO DEATH :D that's what I meant. But he really is a great football player with a darn good work ethic. I just admire how he played with a broken ankle. The only thing he did wrong was go off and marry some other woman :( .

***QUICK HIJACK***

Girl, we should be happy (somewhat) that he stuck with Roxy! They've been together for a while, she also graduated from Syracuse. Too many men these days get money and forget where they came from.

NUPE4LIFE 08-03-2003 11:09 AM

BUCS vs. RAIDERS, again.

kitten03 08-04-2003 12:34 PM

REDSKINS REDSKINS

I'm an original Washingtonian and die hard skins fan. Hopefully we'll have a good showing this year when the coach loses that arrogance. Last year was good and humbling for him. Men need that sometimes

What do you think is going to happen know that Mike Vick broke his leg? Do you think that Doug Johnson is going to be able to do what he needs to do to keep the Falcons rolling until Mike Vick's leg heals?

@Questions404

Thanks for the news. I was away from ESPN much of the past few days and didn't realize that Michael Vick broke his leg. I'm not sure of the Falcons' chances. I know little about Doug Johnson.

NinjaPoodle 08-19-2003 09:35 PM

Ahem..

NFC---> GO COWBOYS
AFC---> GO DOLPHINS

Thank you.

Circling the drain...

...those g****** San Diego Chargers (0-4). David Boston, you don't know. San Diego doesn't like black athletes who act up.

TonyB06 09-30-2003 12:02 PM

We back, yall...

Watch out for my Cincinnati Bengals!! We are most defintely back. After years of bad football, we're now led by Homeboy coach Marvin Lewis (also known as "Black Lombardi").

We put the wood to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday and will drop the hammer on Buffalo next week.

"who dey, who dey, who dey think gon beat dem Bengals?"

Don't know what he wore last night, but Stuart Scott is a bruh, who actually reps the frat in some of his telecasts. As I'm sure you know, he brings the highlights with a "homeboy" flava, if you know what I mean.

I've actually heard him drop in lines from "Invictus" and "House of Alpha" and make reference to that "Black and old Gold." I think he crossed the sands at Univ. of North Carolina.

Gotta luv the bruhs representin.....

Wow, I'm down with the Phirst Phamily, too, but Pink and Black .... but some guys can rock more colors than others, I guess.

Toocute, (he asked, still holding out hope for a rational explanation) is it possible the color on your TV possibly have been slightly off??

Um....NO.

I was talking to some guys in the office about it yesterday. They saw pink and black also. The wardrobe coordinator at ESPN needs to be shot.

"Kordell" McNabb is overrated. When is he going to learn to hit an open receiver? He needs stay out of TGIF, lose 20 lbs, and get a real haircut.

The Falcons are 1-6. The owner of the Falcons apologized for the performance of the team and said that he is just as upset as the fans are about the way that things have turned out thusfar. Though it is nice to see that he feels for the fans, but I am not really sure what to think about things. The season is over and I don't think that Michael Vick should come back this season if he is not 100%. With the offensive line that the Falcons have, he is bound to get hurt again and the way that the team is playing, their confidence is so low that they may inadvertantly give up on a play that could be crucial to keeping him safe. Here is the letter from the Atlanta Falcons website:

Dear Falcons Fans:

A 1-6 record so far is not what any of us anticipated at the beginning of the season. We understand the frustration you feel. In fact, everyone at the Falcons organization shares it. We are disappointed – even angry. We know our team is capable of playing better.

Our coaches, our players, our staff, and I collectively share the responsibility for the outcome of this season. We're not giving up. Our goal is the same as yours: to win football games. We have nine more games in this season, and our commitment to you is to work as hard as we possibly can to win every one of them.

I want you to know that I am just as committed to taking this franchise to the heights of NFL success as I have been from the very start. Not just this season, but every season. If anything, I am more committed and determined than ever.

For the last year and a half, you have rallied around the New Atlanta Falcons in a way that exceeded our expectations. Our organization and team need your continued support, and we will do everything we can to maintain it. We need you, our 12th man.

Thank you for being a part of our team. Let's continue to rally together.

Arthur M. Blank

I am so glad that the Falcons have a bye this weekend. The next game is the Falcons vs. the Eagles. I don't think that Michael Vick is going to be playing and I do think that Donovan McNabb is going to be playing. This is about to be a recipe for disaster. http://www.kurts-smilies.de/hammer.gif

Dem Dayum AINT'S had it going on last night. I was totally shocked. Haslett should have "talked to" Brooks MANY, MANY Mondays ago.

Joe Horn showed his azz with that Cell Phone! I hollered. :D

Playoff assessments/predications for the NFC/AFC?

Joe Horn and that telephone was funny. I got tired of the announcers blah- blahing on about how bad it was.....it's just football.

As for predictions....Cincinnati Bengals AFC North champions
AFC Coach of the Year: Marvin Lewis, also known as "Black Lombardi"

AKA2D '91 12-15-2003 11:46 AM

Those commentators needed to STSAD! They were BLATANTLY "rooting" for the Giants and the "GWH" Palmer. It was in the 3rd quarter and they were still discussing it.

That's why after the 15-yd penalty, the AIN'TS scored! :p

Joe Horn was straight comedy, but I also liked other N'awlins touchdown celebrations, including the guy posing while the teammate took the picture. Aaron Brooks isn't a bad kwatabacque, and he's Michael Vick's cousin.

I'm working on my predictions. I do like Philadelphia -- Donovan McNabb is overrated, right, Flush Himbaugh?
