Highs and Lows
 

I saw this in a another forum and I thought we could use this to talk about our highs and lows for our day/week/ect.

Highs: It's my boyfriends b-day tomorrow and I am planning a surprise party at Dave and Busters so I am really excited for that. I also took a midterm yesterday in my Criminal Justice in America class, and I think that I did pretty good. Crossing fingers. That's about it

Lows: Friday is my last day at my favorite job ever :(

Highs: I got to see one of my oldest friends last weekend, and I'm rekindling a long lost (friendship) with another friend.

Lows: It's going to be 90 in Vancouver today! It's way too hot!

Highs: contract law is almost over ......thankfully! I am moving in a month to my NEW house. matthew is feeling better since his ears/ tubes.

My higha and lows
 

Highs: I start moving on Wednesday, closer to the sorority house. I'm getting out of the roommate situation, sharing a house with 4 other sisters.
Lows: One of the sisters is mean and doesnt give me a break about anything (too serious to post on here).

In General: I start rush school on the 16th, I finish summer school on the 20th, I move out this wednesday. I have jury duty on the 25th and start school on the 2nd of Sept. Ugh... did I forget to mention that I had to breath too?
If there is anything I can say for us in these next weeks coming up, remember that everything happens for a reason and roll with the punches because what doesnt kill us, only makes us stronger!

Highs - three more weeks of summer vacation left before classes start again!

Lows - only three more weeks of summer vacation left before classes start again. :(

Highs: Rekindled an almost extinguished flame with that special someone ;).

Lows: I worked for 11 hours yesterday and another 11 today (Freshman Orientation!)

APhiAngel I went to Dave & Busters for the first time on Sunday night! That place is awesome! I am curious which one you were talking about too... I went to the one in Milpitas.

Hi everyone :) I finally got my computer to work!
Highs: I just got back from San Diego and I have decided that i really want to go to law school down there. My cousin got married, and it was SO fun.

Lows: Well...nothing really, just trying to get myself situated here, and trying to pull up some grades fro summer quarter.

Cutiepatootie: Where is Ontario Mills? But i live near San Francisco (like 20min away) we went to the Dave and Busters in Milpitas. Wait, is Ontario Mills in So Cal?

Aye Fee: We went to D & B in Milpitas, and the guys who work there are mean :( I went there and they told me that I couldn't get in. I am 3 months shy of 21 and I used my friends ID and the ywouldn't let me get in. Yea they were doing thier job, but i got bummed. My friend and I call it worst place when things like that happen. So I left with some of my friends and we went to TGIFridays in Union City and had a blast. But when i am 21 I will be at D & B, with my realy ID ;)

Also, I was at D & B in Milpitas last night which leads me to my....

High: I won all 4 games of shuffle board last night against my boy and his 2 fraternity brothers and didn't have to buy one round (girls rule!)

Low: Woke up with a killer headache this morning (but I deserved it after the 22 hours of work in 2 days!)

AYE FEE: I am at CSUHayward, and I live like 5 min away from school. Where in the Bay do you live?

I'm in San Jose, but I went to school at UC Santa Barbara. I'm in the young alumni group and we have actually been trying to get some contacts from your chapter (say, girls who graduated last year and are still in the area?).

Lows: I got my financial aid assessment in the mail on Friday. I'm $1800 short for tuition. :(

Highs: My inlaws are going to loan me the money I need!

Lows: I'm still short for textbooks. :(

LOWS: I just came off a week of working the overnight shift and am trying to turn my schedule around -- no easy feat!

Highs: Our new A-Phis!!!! YAY!!! My first semester as Recruitment Advisor (I'm SO excited!) and yes, ORLANDO on DVD!! :)

Lows: I have a huge migraine that won't go away and I can't leave work because I have a TON of work to do! :(

Highs: the semester is almost over and i'll never have to deal with this one specific professor ever again!

Lows: after this semester, i only have 2 semesters left of school....and god knows what i'm going to be doing after graduation :(

low: the semester is almost over and i did not do so hot this semester.

Highs: Five more weeks of classes, woo hoo! I aced my politics exam! I am doing extremely well in my classes. I'm going skiing during the week of Christmas (I'm hoping for a white Christmas!)!! I'm going to see Cory Morrow tonight, all thanks to a special Phi.

Lows: I have a headache. :(

When it rains, it pours!
 

High: Im going home. It rained last night.

Low: My car has been in the shop for a month from a horrific accident that wasnt my fault. I lost my job. Cant pay rent. I saw a dead body today. I dont have gas and no money to fill it, but someway Im getting home. ive eaten soup for the last 4 days... no food.

Highs: Jill's initiation is a week from today, and I think I've finally broken my weight loss plateau. *crosses fingers* I'll know for sure on Monday.

Lows: I canNOT get it together on this paper that my professor gave me an extension on! I've got second-year-itis in the WORST way. Graduation can't get here soon enough for me. :(

Highs: my birthday is comming up!!!!!!! And I am starting to like my job, it took 3 months. And I saw Kill Bill, and it was so GOOD!

Lows: I am really worried about school, because of my midterms. I didn't do bad, I am just afraid :(

Highs: 22 days until I get to go home for Thanksgiving!! In the Miss Florida Tech pageant this weekend, an Alpha Phi took first and second place!!! There are auditions this year for a pit orchestra for our spring musical!!!!

Lows: Nervous about elections....my sister turns 17 on Wednesday....22 days until I get to go home for Thanksgiving!!!

Highs - I broke my plateau! I lost 6.4 pounds this week! Woo-hoo!!

Lows: It's not really a low, but my husband is flying over to Vancouver Island without me tomorrow night, so he can attend his father's 85th birthday party. I have class, so I can't go. :(

High- *evil* coworker has interview at NEW job!

Higher still- I have been hired by proper company and will start in February if current employer i'm temping for doesn't hire me. I did let my boss know that i was hired and he said that he liked my work and would do what he could to have me stick around as a real true honest to goodness employeed (which would be good since my fiance works here in a different department)\

Highs: Justin, a friend of mine from back home, is throwing me a late birthday bash in two weeks. Getting to see everyone again should be fun. :)

Lows: My mom called me this morning at 7:15am and woke me up! :eek:

High:Its my 25th Birthday this Sunday...let's see...thats in two days! I dont know , but considering its Intiation that day... nice to spend it with my sisters. But considering all the papers, exams and presentations... my birthday is minescule I guess because the assignements are still due ya know? Tonight we have our senior/freshman...I cant wait!

Low: Im sick. green stuff and all. after our dinner tonight, all the seniors have thier "last night" and we have something really exciting planned. Living in CA, we're taking up the Hollywood scene in stylized wheels...nothing like a limo! I just am sick and you know...its not much fun! I have two papers, a presentation and two exams next week....should i even go?

High: I get to see Maharet and SeattleAlphaPhi tonite and spend the weekend with them!:D

Low: I have to get through another 7 hours of work first:(

Are you guys having a regional team meeting?

Yep, that too. And I'm outta here shortly, I survived the day! Yea!

Thanks!! I'm actually going to be a social worker, doing in-home child protection work. It's such a relief to be getting settled here after the awful year I've had. :)
