Is Your Magazine Available for Download?

Just a question to all greeks: Is your magazine available for download (either public or members only)? The Alpha Phi Quarterly is available, and you can get back issues dating back to 1998.

33girl 07-29-2003 11:23 AM

No, and it annoys the @#$% out of me that it isn't. I mean how hard is it to put something on a scanner??

GeekyPenguin 07-29-2003 11:31 AM

Our Crescent is on our website and it's really nice - this is a new feature to go with our new site. :)

greeklawgirl 07-29-2003 11:39 AM

We used to be able to download issues of the Quarterly on the old Alpha Gam website, but the new website doesn't have that feature. If I remember correctly, that is on the "to-do" list for the website in the future. :)

DeltAlum 07-29-2003 11:58 AM

Not sure you can download it, but the Delta Tau Delta magazine, "The Rainbow" is available at www.delts.org. Click on the News Button and scroll down to the "Rainbow" selection.

There are back issues.

Buttonz 07-29-2003 11:58 AM

No! It would be nice to be abel to get it however!

Sistermadly 07-29-2003 12:00 PM

I don't know about anyone else, but I love reading greek magazines. It's cool to see what other organizations are up to. :)

Oh, and the new Gamma Phi website is AMAZING! Congratulations to my Triad sisters!

Munchkin03 07-29-2003 12:01 PM

Nope, the Lyre doesn't have an online version. I should be getting one of those in the mail soon...

Sistermadly 07-29-2003 03:44 PM

Okay, I haven't even made it into work today from reading all of these magazines. It's a good thing my schedule is VERY flexible.

Arya: I'm very impressed with the Sig Ep magazine. Makes me wish I knew some Sig Eps personally.

cherub 07-29-2003 04:04 PM

Our magazine, The Arrow, is available on line, but they are an issue behind for some reason.Pi Phi web site

DGMarie 07-29-2003 04:05 PM

Sistermadly 07-29-2003 06:22 PM

And look who's in it! MARIE! :D

I'm thinking of writing my own AI story for The Quarterly...

AOIIalum 07-29-2003 10:34 PM

Alpha Omicron Pi's award-winning quarterly, To Dragma, is online at http://www.alphaomicronpi.org/ (just click on To Dragma on the main menu.)

There hasn't been an update to the section since Winter 2002 :( but I'm hoping to see more of our magazine available there in the future!

Kevin 07-31-2003 01:02 PM

Yep.

The Link.

KEPike 07-31-2003 01:05 PM

Here's Pike's quarterly magazine, the Shield & Diamond:

Same with us!

AlphaXi4983 07-31-2003 02:23 PM

excerpts of our previous editions are available online, but that hasnt been updated recently. i think the last one on there is from summer 2002... i too love seeing what other greek organizations are up to, and seeing what they have to say about the chapters on my campus :)

Sistermadly 07-31-2003 02:57 PM

Yay! More links! And from two Fraternities that I actually know members of! :D

I love that the Winter 2002 Delta of Sigma Nu includes both the Canadian and US Flags in the footer of its pages.

trisigmaAtl 07-31-2003 03:41 PM

The Triangle is available for download, which is great because one of the fun parts of being a collegiate is moving alot (therefore lots of address changes) so either the magazine gets lost in the mail, or comes to your home address (where you never are). The only reason I've gotten to read the Triangle at all is because it's online, I've never even seen a paper one:p

DZHBrown 07-31-2003 04:30 PM

Yes, The Lamp is available at www.deltazeta.org

Magazine on Line

The DU Quarterly is online. Issues began to be posted in 1999. I wish older magazines from the beginning of publication could be scanned in to the website.Maybe a represenative sample, one issue from the 30's, 40's etc.

By the way my chapter had a complete set of bound volumes of the DU Quarterly from 1949(date of chapter installation) - to 1988(when I graduated) Very Cool to read!

sueali 08-01-2003 11:22 AM

The sigma kappa triangle is online also.
