Whoa, summer!
 

Has this not been the fastest summer on record?:(

I have to start back fulltime on July 31st! I don't want to! I want to sit under the ceiling fan and read, sit out on the deck and enjoy sweet tea, boil more fresh corn on the cob, add plants to the garden--

WHAT HAPPENED TO SUMMER?

That's a very good question! I was sitting in class this morning thinking about how I only have a week and a half left of my summer class! :eek: It doesn't even feel like the summer ever actually started!! Oh well, I don't like summer anyway so I'm glad it's almost over but I agree with you it has gone by SO fast!!

I was thinking the same thing. My summer course is coming to an end soon, and then 3 weeks after that school starts again for the fall. Where does it all go. When I was in public school 2 months seemed like for ever for summer vacation. Now I get 4 months and the time just flys by. Soon I'll be graduating :eek:

This summer has definitely gone by extremely fast! I'm not too fond of the heat (other than when at the beach or on the river), but the time off is the best.

It seems that Summer last year lasted longer...

It sucks that all I did this Summer was work. However I did manage to have a little fun in between all the madness. I just wish it could last longer than this...

It was cold here all of June, and July has been rainy except for a few nice days.

june sucked! it was cold and rainy. plus, we had school until june 23rd. until this week, july has been fine. i really don't want to go back to the real world!!! i am enjoying pretending that i am a college student again!!!

It HAS flown by but I can't complain because fall is my favorite season :)

What happened to not starting school until after Labor day? My girls go back in two weeks! Hating it and loving it at the same time!

There never was a summer. It was washed out here in PA.

Hehe, Summer is comming up soon. So when all of you are freezing your but off, i'll be sweating my butt off.

not nearly enough time for lemonade, fresh corn, good vegetables, swimming. we see kids starting tomorrow with the freshmen and everyone else comes monday.

Summer is flown by......

unluckily for me i live in miami where it is always either summer or spring...

but what the rest of the world calls fall is my favorite season...its the one time of year that the ocean breeze gets a lil cooler...and my birthday of course (YAY almost 22) and everything just seems so much calmer...

only 2 more weeks of my summer class...then Fall classes...oh the joy

This summer has gone by way too fast for me. I had 2 weeks off inbetween spring semester and summer classes. I have a month off inbetween the summer semester and fall classes starting.

With work, wedding planning, and just generalized life, this summer has gone way too fast. :(

Mine, too (because it means my birthday is fast approaching! :) ), but at the same time, I hate to see summer end this year because I have to go back to work. Substitute teaching isn't bad, but why does school have to start August 5??? That's way too early!

I took part of last semester off (i.e. a leave of absence), so I've been on summer break since march....actually I haven't done schoolwork since february (when I decided to take a leave of absence), so I've been on a break from school since then....I am sooooooo ready to learn, and TO RUSH!!!! YAY for recruitment 2003!!!!!! This has been the longest break from school since I was like 3 years old!
