my friend is on it and she invited me to join. i had never heard of it before, but it won't let me sign up! oh well!!

I clicked on the Friendster site and took the short tour...it seems interesting (it has a similar theme to LJ w/ photos listing friends, likes, etc).

Are there many Greeks using this site? I never heard of it until I read this thread.

I just joined but I have no contacts. :( From what I see, I can't really do anything without contacts. It seems pretty cool though.

I remember that. In fact, I was just thinking to go and see if that site was still up. This site, though, seems more of a dating type of deal. I saw that they have had parties.

i'm on friendster...i don't have very many people on my friends list but i'm connected to virtually everyone because my brother has something like 200 people on his friendslist or something ridiculous like that. I haven't met anyone new through it though..my friend met the guy shes currently dating through it tho..so i guess it works :)

Friendster is hilarious...through 5 friends, I have 25,000 contacts.

All but one of my seven friends just recently joined b/c I invited then. The one person who was already a member only has two friends. Because of the seven of my friends and those two people of one of my friends, I have 57 contacts. I can only imagine what it will be like when friends of my friends begin to join. :eek: I don't want to catch up to Munchkin03 though. :p

i personally only have 7 friends on my list..but through those 7 friends i am connected to over 96,000 people..crazy

I'm on Friendster. It's actually a good way to keep in touch with folks I haven't seen since graduation. 19 friends gets me a network of 159,000 really hot and mostly gay men. Oy!

Despite that, me likes. I am not trying to hook up with anybody from the internet anyway.
