Philly Area Get Together?
 

I know there aren't many of us, but we Philadelphians should get together!! Anybody out there who's game?

I'm good for it if its b4 Aug 24. (i get to go back early since im an Orientatin Leader.) I live in the city so if we do a get-together, I can do an informal tour or something. :)

I'm about 45 min from Philly at school, and 1hr 45 from home. But since there seems to be no interest in a NYC or Jersey meet, I'd be willing to meet...

word of caution- I know next to NOTHING about Philly.

OK, fabulous!! Some takers :) I'm in Delaware County, but Philadelphia seems to be our center point. SO, I'll organize if you all want, but PM me three dates that are good for you in the next month, and we'll go with consensus.

Hmmm...I'd be up for it, but I'm not going to have any dates open next month. Or in September, for that matter. Oh well, next time. :(

I know i would love to meet up and im sure i could get some of my sisters in and some other greeks from rutgers, camden. also....i know a few of my sisters are goin to bon jovi tonight....look for the yellow and blue....im sure they will be wearing it!!!!!!

I'm seeing him the last night at Giant's Stadium. Theres just something about seeing BonJovi in Jersey than anywhere else...

As for dates with a get together...I'm back at school for XC Camp Aug 18...

I've only heard from 2 or 3 folks so far. Let's pick a date in mid-August, that way folks going back to school can get in on it too :)

I'd def. be interested in some sort of get-together, and I'm pretty sure I could convince a few other Crows from my chapter to join in too.

As far as dates go...
Weekend of Aug 8/9 would be perfect, other than that, weekends are sorta flexible.

Again, I'm only about 20 min outside of Philly so it works out good.

Maybe we could all go to Geno's and get some steaks! Those things are addicting.

Ok, after all the PMs, I think the best date may be the third weekend in August. The 15th or the 16th. Let me know :)

Also, we need to think of somewhere to go, and someone suggested Manayunk (maybe the Brew Pub?)

hmm depends on if you want to go to a chill out bar or a crowded place. Finnegans Wake is usually a good time but it can get crowded.

ugh, It doesnt really matter to me where we go as long as its not too expensive and its not a bar. (am 19, not sure if I can get inside a bar even if I promise not to drink)

I say whereever we go, someplace that's chill would be best. You know, a good place to just sorta hang out and get to know each other. I'm sure there are places in Philly that are bar/restaurant type deals where underagers can at least get into.

Sorry folks, but I am not going to be able to make it the weekend of the 16th, so I am looking for a volunteer to take over this. Let me know if you can do this.
