Akron is from September 9-13.....no one on GC is going through but I'll keep ya'll updated on how we do :)

Correction to list
 

DG does not have a chapter at Alabama. We left there in 1978.
We do have a chapter at UAB - the University of Alabama at Birmingham and their recruitment is 8/28-9/1.

Is DG starting at UNLV this coming Fall???????? I had no idea. Can someone please tell me for sure?

To my knowledge, we do not have a chapter at UNLV. Only at Reno. We are expanding to New Mexico next Spring, but that is all I know.

Clemson is not participating in fall recruitment. Neither is USC (Carolina). Furman will be on deferred recruitment.

I think that is an awesome idea! When we found out who is going DG, we should TOTALLY send them 'Welcome and Congrats' PM's! That way we'll make sure to pull them to our forum! What a great way to be sisterly! Great idea, Mel!

I am new to this website and everything thats going on. I am starting school at UNF next week and I am very interested in rushing. How will I know what the differences in the sororities are, and how hard is it to get picked? As a matter of fact, how do they choose and how do you get chosen? I am very new this all of this, but very excited!

She promised to keep the secret... but it was tooo hard.. so in a round about way she used Capital letters in the sentence to say ... The results are good... one of the members of GC pledged Delta Gamma at LSU!!!!! (of course I could be wrong)

According to the offical DG web site, Gamma Zeta is the 5th largest DG chapter with 196 members. That information may not be quite accurate now that recruitment has started and the May 2003 graduates are gone. However, I would venture to say that they are still around 200 or so as are most other chapters at LSU. www.deltagamma.org/dg_fun_facts.shtml

One tid bit that I am sure the chapter shares with other housed DGs is the large anchor out front. It is not uncommon to see a young man afixed to this anchor in various stages of undress. This is, of course, after he has dropped (lavaliered), pinned, or become engaged to sister.

Univ of Southern California rush is 8/28 to 9/1

Alpha Nu is the largest sorority at USC with over 200 members. Quota is typically around 60-65.

We are one of the largest DG chapters. USC and UF, I think, battle it out for biggest each year. :)

Glad I'm not the only one who feels that way! The mystery is solved! According to an email JAM sent me, quota was 76 and we took 81! I should've copied and pasted her message, but I deleted it with relief! YEAH AMES!!!
