my recruitment doesn't start until september 4th!

if I dont' die in anticipation before that!

GMU rush usually isn't held until roughly 6 weeks after school starts. Last year it was held the weekend of Sept. 23rd. I don't know when it's planned for this year.

The University of Oklahoma's rush starts I believe the second week of aug around the 15th.

UTK's rush begins August 16th with orientation and goes through August 24th..Bid Day!!!:D

MTSU's rush starts Aug. 15th with orientation and bid day is the 20th!! :D

university of north florida rush is august 27th - 31st..yea!!!!!!!!!!!

My fun will begin the days that summer school lets out and I get to enjoy some well deserved time off before rush begins. (1 week. Whoo freakin hoo. ;) )

I can't wait to find out who my rho sigma is! That's what I'm excited about for the moment, since it's actually closer than rush.

Yup! Either the 14th or the 15th (gotta look at the schedule) and then Bid Day is the 19th! :D I'm so excited! Of course, I start the 5th moving into the house and gettign ready for rush and stuff. It's gonna be soo much fun! We have some great stuff planned. Hmm I guess it is the 15th...when do the PNM's move in?

U of Missouri Columbia's rush starts on the 18th of August, I AM SO EXCITED!!! This will be my second year as an active doing rush and I'm even more excited than last time! :D

Panhellenic Orientation is Sept 7 and parties go until Sept 13, bid day. Its sunday-saturday.
Ive never been through fall rush. I was intitated spring.

Preferentials

Preferentials is the most formal round of Recruitment. Formal dresses that you would have worn to Prom or Homecoming are good examples of what most people will opt to wear. Simple jewelry may be worn. Formal shoes should also be worn, but remember to bring flip flops to wear between parties.


....wow, this is very formal. Most of the time I read cocktail dress but this makes me think floor length, poofy and, well, very prom like....

Many girls DO wear cocktail dresses for Prom or Homecoming.

Rarely does a PNM wear a huge poofy dress...but it has happened.

Thanks so much for doing this. A lot of school will be having recruitment around the time I'm at convention Sept 5-7. So the second I get home, I'll have tons to catch up on.
