I looked pretty much the same. My hair was lighter.. that's about it.

i looked like a younger version of what i am now

I had a Dorothy Hamill or bowl haircut with eyeglasses. I was very skinny and freckled. I was always using rollerskates, a bicycle, or a skateboard. I don't have any pictures from my childhood online.

I was a tiny, tanned kid--much smaller than everyone else in my class except the Chinese girls.

My memories of being younger are that I always had funky tan lines because I spent all summer on a tennis court. Also, I was tall; waaaay too tall! I absolutely towered over every one else because I reached my full height (5'3) by the time I was 11. Oh, and I also got my, um, chest before I was really ready for it. Didn't like that too much.

My MOTHER used to curl my hair with bobby pins and put me in those stupid Shirley Temple curls! I was so skinny but ate a LOT!
Very tan and always had bruises.
Then she started braiding my hair so tight I thought my hair would rip out.

Everyone says I was a beautiful child, but I felt cheated, because EVEN BACK THEN...all the little girls with cute blond curls got the boys...My "assets" didn't kick in till I was much older.


Oh, and I also got my, um, chest before I was really ready for it. Didn't like that too much. BUT, BUT, BUT-Were you a CHEERLEADER??? You just described the number one criteria for being on the junior high squad!:p

lets see, me as a child- very short, hair totally bleached from the sun, tan (but never burnt, had 20 SPF put on my every morning-thanks mom) very skinny (i distinctly remember someone asking my mom once if she fed me) constantly bruised and scrapped and dirty...playing sports with the boys, and trying to climb trees.... that would be after i came back from being a ballerina.

i was the ultimate girlie-jock. i went from ballet, to hockey practice (and i don't mean field) to piano lessons. and i always wore my hair in a pink ribbon that stuck out of the back of my helmut.

I've been told that I was a cute little kid. I was blonde with green eyes and very talkative. I also had a cute smile. My mother would always dress me up in the frilly little dresses, penny loafers, and my hair was always in braids or pigtails. She made sure I looked "polished" every time I left the house even if I was just going to my preschool class!

It was when I got to middle school that my "gawky" stage hit. I didn't begin to mature until much after everyone else did so I was a lot shorter than most people. Didn't hit my growth spurt until freshman year in high school. After my growth spurt, I towered over a lot of the guys (I'm "5'7"). Also, I was very, very, very skinny to the point where random people would come up to me and ask, "Are you anorexic?" (BTW, that is so rude and unclassy) I was never ugly; it was just that I looked very childlike until I finally filled out when I got to college.

After my Dorothy Hamill haircut grew out, I looked like a chubby Nadia Comaneci (or however you spell it). I always had two ponytails and a year-round suntan, and I had no front teeth for the longest time because they took forever to come in. I was also obsessed with Band-Aids, so in a lot of pictures I've got one on most of my fingers. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures to show you, but maybe it's better that way...I'd never be able to live it down. ;)

Many some years later, hair turned brown, many some years later, going back to blond!:D

Was slim and trim, now shrinking only one way shorter:( ;)

I don't have a picture, but I had white blonde hair, gorgeous skin, rosy cheeks and I was pretty chubby up to age five, then skinny from then onwards until high school.I also had no front teeth for quite a few years and was (am) quite a klutz.

I had golden blonde ringlet curls down to my waist and big blue eyes. I was super skinny, didn't reach 5 feet or 100 lbs until 9th grade. I was also a huge tomboy, I thought my life was over when my dad wouldn't let me play pop warner football. I was really tan because once football and baseball were out I became obsessed with tennis and was always on the courts for a span of about 8 years. I was also a book worm. You could most often find me curled in a corner with my hair piled on top of my head getting lost in some 1000 page fairy tale with my eyes all lit up. (sigh) I wish I had the same hair and eyes as I did when I was little. Now I have short straight blonde hair (same color though) and green eyes. . . oh well!

Awwww you all are sooooo cute! I was an ok looking kid. Very very very small. I ate incredible amounts of food yet stayed very small. I had red/blonde hair and green eyes. Pale. Thin. But rosy-cheeked. I didn't top 5' until I was about 13 or so. I didn't hit 50 lbs until I was at least 12. I hit a huge spurt when I was 12. I was a terribly cute baby tho. If I can get my pics uploaded I will post them!

LOL, my great aunt had all my pictures of me when I was little. I've always been sad that I didn't have any pictures of me when I was young, so I am SO estactic that I have tons now!
