Men's Version of Divas Live
Let's start planning now. Who would you want to see for. . .
DUDES LIVE Talk to me. . . :D |
Since Luffa's out of action
Maybe Al Jarreau (showing my age), jazz singer Kevin Mahogany, Stevie Wonder, Will Downing, Big Ruuben. I may think of other male singers, not rappers.
|
Kenny Lattimore, Stevie Wonder, Brian McKnight, Will Downing, Dave Hollister
|
I choose
Maxwell The O'Jays Johnny Gill New Edition (+/-Bobby Brown) Earth Wind and Fire Oh and Al Jarreau would be nice, Steeltrap |
Ruben
Teddy Pendergrass The Temptations Babyface |
Frankie Beverly and Maze
Phillip Bailey Stevie Wonder Peabo Bryson would be on my list... |
How could I EVER forget Frankie?!
New Edition WITHOUT Bobby (he'd probably blow the groove) Boyz II Men Babyface Musiq |
Here's my concert
Maxwell
Musiq Prince Carl Thomas Rueben Studdard KC and JoJo New Edition (no Bobby) Gerald Levert maybe D'angelo |
I find it hilarious that people were tripping over Ashanti being on Divas Live, but want Ruben Studdard on Dudes Live and his album is not even available yet.
My thought is that DIVAS and DUDES LIVE should honor those with some sort of longevity or staying power. 12 weeks is NOT longevity. |
my list
If possible, Dude #1 would be MICHAEL JACKSON!!!! If he'd like to share the stage. The rest would be on a different night of the concert. I'm taking a vacation in the islands for my concert, and it will be four days long (3-4 acts per night plus one extra day for Mike).
musiq soulchild Frankie Beverly & Maze Gerald Levert Kenny Latimore Maxwell Stevie Wonder New Edition Raphael Saddiq Babyface Donnie 112 (but they can only sing songs from their 1st album) The Gap Band |

but to add to my boys being there I would have to have Mint Condition and TonyToniTone. How can you have a Dudes Live television show and not have the peeps who keep instrumentation alive. Oh yeah, I think Usher would be a good edition too. And Hi-Five, I'd find them just so I could hear at least three of their songs from their greatest hits album. I wonder what happened to them. |
now you know you all can not forget luther vandross. it wouldn't be a show without him. the isley brothers and r. kelly (even though he is a nasty scoundrel) and all of the others you all mention except for bobby brown (he scares me when i see his face)
|
mmmm...... I would choose

Prince George Michael Maxwell Rick Ashley The Boys Steve Wonder Bell Biv Devoe The Gap Band Kool in the Gang The Time Teddy Luther and if I could I would ABSOLUTLEY LOVE Marvin Gaye (R.I.P.) As you can see from my selection, I have an old soul :D ;) |
