The new model search show, featuring Tyra Banks, premieres tonight at 9pm on UPN.

I saw her on was it Conan? last night! She is like 145 pounds and proud! She's just got that heigth thing going for her! Don't think I'll be watching this one though!

I watched it and liked it...it has an MTV/Making the Band quality.

For face and body, I like Nicole and Giselle.
For personality and attitude, I like Elyse.

If anyone is interested in tuning in, UPN is running last week's premiere episode before this week's new episode.

I watched both episodes and was suprised to find that I really liked the show. I'm actually rooting for Elyse, she seems so much more down to earth and much more of a natural than all of the others.

I love Elyse! I love her attitude and her confessionals are the best!!! She reminds me of Rebecca from Real World Seattle...just with darker hair.

I really like Adrianne as well. It's nice to see girls that are more down-to-earth.

I understand that it's a competition and everything but damn Ebony, why do you have to be such a bitch?

I'm not sure I'm into the bible beater group of ladies: Shannon, Robin, and Kesse. Kesse looks too much like Tyra and I think that will be a disadvantage for her...the world doesn't need two Tyra Banks'. I think what Robin did to Elyse was completely uncalled for. Newsflash Robin!! Not everyone believes in the same things!! Although I don't really like her attitude I think Robin will make it towards the end because she has such a different body type from the other girls that makes her marketable.

I think Nicole and Shannon are too plain and modeling agencies can find a million girls just like them.

I think Giselle was the girl that was ragging on Elyse for wanting to go to medical school. I don't like people who talk bad about people for having multiple goals in their life!!

I completely agree with their decision to vote off Tessa and Katie in the first to shows.

Yay! I'm not the only one that loves Elyse! I loved when she was cursing everyone out in the confessional...haha! :D

I really like Elyse and easily emphathized with her over that bible passage "fiasco". I've been in that position before and it is very uncomfortable and uncool. I also really like Adrienne.

Omigod, I can't believe Robyn had the gall to show her that.
And then to insist on the prayer circle, which I'm sure she knew Elyse would not be comfortable with.
Uhh, I can't wait til she's gone...Shannon too.

I've gotten sucked into this show too. It's such a festival of bitchiness, but I love it. Elyse is my favorite (she does look like Rebecca from RW). Her confessional on the 2nd show was great! Giselle needs to take the stick out of her butt--she's "pissed off" about everything. I would like to see her, Robin, and Shannon go. Robin needs to step back with the bible stuff, prayer circles, and hymn sing-alongs. Could the judges be any meanier? Especially the 40 yr old ex-model chick. And Kimora Simmons needs to get over herself. She wouldn't be anything if she wasn't married to Russell Simmons. My picks are Elyse, Nicole, and Ebony.

Well, part of me was surprised because I think Nicole has more model quality than some of the girls.
At the same time, they spent too much time making her look clingy and uninterested...so that was a major clue.

Props to Adrienne for being such a tough cookie!

I love how Elyse looked like she was straight out of the 60's with the snake shot. She really has the potential to be beautiful, but I agree with the judges last week when they said she was so thin and pale. I have no problem with fair skin, but she almost does look unhealthy.

Nicole did seem clingy "Oh my boyfriend, I miss him...where is he...what is he doing...oh my god I can't live without him..." Give it a break, girl!

Ebony is so harsh I don't know what to think.

Gizelle...does your jaw really have to drop like that every single time a girl is elimated? The mock shock is getting old.

Adriene...wow, she was so sick. That took some incredible stamina. I didn't really like her at first, but I admire her courage. I would have made a bed next to the toilet and wouldn't leave if a nuclear bomb had been dropped on the hospital.

Surprisingly interesting show. I don't think that what they're doing is necessarily HARD (oh my god...not my $1500 EXTENSIONS!) but it's entertaining.

I thought the brown haired girl who eliminated last week was the prettiest out of all of them, but now that she's gone, I'm rooting for Adrianne. I don't think she's gorgeous, but she has that model look to her. I don't think Kesse is anything special and I don't like Ebony at all-- looks and attitude. And I don't think Giselle is even pretty! When I saw the first show, I was like, out of all of the aspiring models in America, these were the prettiest girls they could find?!

I'm rooting for Elyse. I like her look and her personality and I feel like she's the only one who has a clue. I like Adrianne's "model" look... but I can't stand listening to her. She sounds like she had her jaw wired shut. And my mom is convinced that she's a crackhead... the first time she heard her, she asked me "What kind of drugs is that girl on? She's incoherent!" Very very true. Can't stand hearing her talk! I did feel bad about her sickness, though, but of course my mom was wondering if it was the drugs.

Don't like Robin and her bible thumping, Ebony is way too intense for me, I don't like Giselle's look. Shannon is pretty enough, but I don't think she'll win. I think Kesse, Elyse and Adrianne are the real contenders left. I'm rooting for Elyse! Between winning the makeup challenge and her awesomely mod photo that the judges loved, I think she is definitely one of the top two contenders.

I'm still rooting for Elyse. She had the best snake picture of all the girls. Shannon's was nice too. I guess I was wrong about Nicole being a contender. They really made her out to be such a whiny brat. And why is she buying $1,500 hair extensions? I was impressed by Adrienne overcoming her extreme illness. Giselle really gets on my nerves. She's so fake--you're not really sad to see those girls go. She almost sounded happy about Adrienne getting sick and potentially missing the elimination ceremony. Why must Tyra give that same speech every week? I get it, they're still in the running to be America's next top model and they'll win alot of cool crap. Also, they so made Kesse into Tyra junior. And Ebony and Robin need to quit it with the diva attitudes.

I forgot the show came on and missed most of the first half. What was the whole Giselle/Ebony fight about? Something riddiculous I'm sure. They deserved to be the bottom two. I think Ebony is pretty, but agree with the judges that she is too hard/angry. And Giselle needs to get some self-esteem and stop bitching. I'm glad somebody finally pointed out that Adrianne needs to open her mouth when she talks. And that Shannon needs to close her's. Did anyone else spot Robin's Delta Sigma Theta sweatshirt? The "yes ma'am" thing with her and judge Janice was funny. The next episode looks interesting. I'm wondering if Elyse really is anorexic or if the girls are just blowing something out of porportion.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that Robin was wearing a Delta Sigma Theta sweatshirt last night.

Were Ebony and Giselle the ones in the bottom two?

Yeah, Giselle and Ebony were in the bottom 2. They voted off Ebony. She didn't do well in the commercial they all had to shoot and the judges thought she came off too hard. Hmm....wonder why?

What was the commercial for?

You know, people may or may not like Robin and her "pagent" stuff, but it seems every time they do a shoot when they are critiquing it, they always say she looks great! I know she had the attitude a last time, but she got over it. And they say she's maybe too old, but you can't tell in pictures. And the Baby Phat lady loves her. But that annoying skinny b*itch of a judge said once, "I just don't see the next top model as a plus sized model". Well, guess what, I am not plus size and I relate to her much more than the skinny minnies! I think it would be great if she won.

It was a mock commercial for makup, I believe. Each girl had a couple of lines. Ebony kept tripping over hers. And Giselle wasn't giving enough confidence. Kesse and Elyse did the best.

I am still loving this show! I was waiting for Ebony to leave since the first episode. She has a bad attitude and, to me, she just didn't have "the Look." I am worried for Elyse in the next episode, but I remember that before the show started that Tyra said there were weigh in's at one point because they wanted to keep the girls healthy.

Last week when she was late to workout she had on a DSQ t-shirt. Over in the DST forum, we are raving about the sweatshirt.


We are also starting a crusade against Janice (washed up former supermodel).

I think that the commercial was actually for contacts, since they said the brand (Fresh Look colored contacts) a zillion times. Also, remember that Ebony had either light blue or grey contacts during her talkovers to the audience. Shannon also could not say Fresh Look, she kept calling it Fresh Color.

What is the weight issue with Elyse? I know she's very skinny and I know the other girls were pissed last week because she ate oatmeal while they scarfed down pizza, but did I miss something else?

According to the girls and what is shown, she NEVER eats like a regular person. She eats like candy or oatmeal or like an apple but never food FOOD.

I feel bad for Elyse. I hate how all of the judges and other contestants spoke about her as an anorexic. It's not proven, everyone who KNOWS Elyse has strongly denied it and I see how it must be so frustrating to Elyse. For once I agreed with Janice- it is JUST hearsay, not a proven fact. It was killing me when Kimora kept calling her an anorexic or whatever. So NOT fair. I won't believe she has an eating disorder until it's proven- and neither should anyone else.

Elyse is by far the most "ready" to become a model. No one has anything but praise for her- her interview was the best, she worked the hardest at swimming, she had the best Reebok shoot, she just knows how to do it right. I'm rooting for her.

I like Adrianne, but I CANNOT stand listening to her speak! I agree 100% with the judges on that- it's distracting and annoying!

Robin needs to go, but I applauded Tyra for telling Janice off. Janice was WAY out of line calling Robin "huge" and "gross" and whatever other offensive adjectives she used. Go Tyra!

I like Kesse... she's harmless. Like Elyse said, she hasn't done anything to piss me off.

I like Shannon, too. But I do think her strong beliefs are going to interfere with her modeling career and things she'll see in the business.

I'm hoping it comes down to Adrianne and Elyse.

Like usual I'm cheering on Elyse. Every week she shows that she deserves to be there. I liked her whole carriage interview and how she talked smack about the other girls. They deserved it after trying to bring her out of the eating disorder closet. Maybe she's just is naturally skinny. It was wrong of Kimora to label her as anorexic too. She doesn't know that for a fact. Janice shouldn't have called Robin fat/gross either. But, I can't stand Robin and her sanctimonious attiude. She's not perfect and she needs to stop acting as if she is. But I have to admit that she cracked me up when she screamed "He was lustin'!!" (talking about the football player from the photo shoot). Could she be more southern? And how many little animals had to die to make her huge fur coat? I still like Kesse and Adrianne. The moments with her mom were sweet. Shannon is just so bland to me. Ok, you're a virgin, I get it. Is there anyhthing else you can talk about? It was time for Giselle to go. She was getting on my nerves too.

By the way, Tyra was on E! News Live today and she said there would probably be an America's Next Top Model 2, since this one is doing so well in the ratings.

Just because she knows doesn't mean she can't be in denial. Knowing more about the disorders might help her mask her own even more.

I just think it's ridiculous. Even her bf said she didn't have a disorder.
I think if there were another petite girl in the house, no one would be crying "eating disorder!"
