walking to Poor Phil's and sitting at one of the outdoor tables, enjoying a good beer and sweet potato fries
going for long walks around the neighborhood at night grilling veggie burgers and stuffed peppers ditching work in the afternoons and taking naps at home (oh wait, I do that all year, LOL) |

Concerts at Ravinia Having a real tan, not one out of a bottle Cute sandles to show off fresh pedicures Going sleeveless at night and NOT freezing (no more hunched over get-me-inside-before-I-freeze-to-death-in-my-little-outfit car to bar sprint!) |
I can't wait to:
get paid to tan and flirt with cute guys (i'm a lifeguard during the summer) see my baby sister everyday for 3 months, i miss her so much, she's only 2 and doesn't understand the whole college thing go to Winton Woods and have picnics go camping with my friends hanging out at BW-3's and Frickers after swim meets NO HOMEWORK!!!!! actually having a good social life bc my job ends at 7 every night more to come probably! |

as far as Memorial Day weekend goes...can't wait to finish my 9 page history paper.
but SUMMER can't wait to..... see armyguy again move into my apartment with PhiMugirlie01 in late August SLEEP turn 20 and leave my teenage years forever earn money see all my Cinci friends again go on a (possible) road trip to NC and to northeast OH to see all my sisters go shopping with my southwest OH sisters replenish my wardrobe so i have more than Phi Mu wear...even though I love it I need other clothes |
relax outside with a book and glass of lemonade.
stock up on my summer sandals at payless catch lighting bugs! hear the zacadias at night go to barbeques and outdoor parties wear all those summer dresses I just love see the summer movies (like pirates of the caribbean! woo hoo!) drink my weight in sangria go on a road trip drive with the windows down at night |

Cant wait for: - work days at Pirates Cove with my boys - the beach days - Cape Cod Summers; thats all you need to say :) - some cute tourists. - blasting jimmy buffet - 4th of july parties - graduation parties - fires in the chiminea in my backyard - campouts and sooooo much more |

-buy a dozen pairs of flip flops... in every new shade, and of course, the de riguer black. -look sunkissed and healthy -go to a fourth of July BBQ -drive around blasting Sublime... so summer! -wear J. Crew sundresses -ice cream (oh wait... I eat that all year!) |
yay for:
"driving around and blasting Sublime"...it is the only thing to listen to when it's hot outside and your windows are down!!!!! I love: walking around outside at eight pm barefoot. The pavement is warm, the air is cool, an it's still light outside NIGHTSWIMMING beer tastes soooo much colder sleeping outside after a day at the beach and your skin is pink and warm from the sun. the one book you get to read ever all year that is NOT for school (the southern belle primer is on my list this year, I've heard too many funny things about it from GC. plus nobody wants to think too much during their summer reads) preparing for the LSAT....oh wait, I HATE that! :p :mad: |

Summer for me means CAMP!!!!
And this summer I'm bringing one of my littles with me! YAY! I'm so excited about showing her all around my summer home... And camp for me means... Lots of crafts Getting messy/playing in mud/creekwalking Frozen pudding for dessert Pajama breakfasts Monday mornings Sleep-in breakfasts Friday mornings (my favorite!) Campers who say the funniest things Playing, laughing, and singing all summer long! |
That camp thing sounds better than my summer i wish i could go.

I don't like summer....but I DO like-
-Weekends on the cape (=spending a fortune @ the Christmas Tree Shoppe!) -Weekends on THE VINEYARD -Day trips to the historic waterfront in downtown Newport, RI (I LOVE IT DOWN THERE!) (...and good shopping @ the Navy base!) -Late nights at the theater with the guys :) -The BEST Internship in the world (YEAH FT!) -Racy conversations over the headset -Grilled Vegetables...from my Daddy's garden! -Broadway Weekends in NYC -A new slew of kiddies at the day-care -Moonlight swims -Cute tourist boys ;) -Skipping work on a random Friday to head to Six Flags, Canobie Lake Park, or my cabin in Maine :) -Free concerts at the beach down the road boo the heat ;( it makes me cranky |
