How about them Spurs. We're almost there, just one more game and the Lakers are done with. I personally can't stand the lakers and their bandwagon fans. Maybe I hate them so much because I'm from San Antonio, but so do alot of other people. If you hate the lakers you know what I'm talking about.

I'm not from San Antonio...heck, I'm not even from Texas...

but at this point I'm all for anyone BUT the Lakers. Just looking at Shaq disturbs me.

I'll tell you one thing. I"m a diehard Spurs fan. And every night i've had to work and missed watching the game, the Spurs have won.

I have to work Thursday night till midnight, hopefully the streak will continue.

I was gonna post a thread about the playoffs, but i wanted to make sure the Spurs beat the fakers before i started shootin off my mouth.

I'm also a Spurs fan and I'm so glad we are kicking the Laker's ass. I live in California and here if you don't like either the Lakers or the Kings you have to hear their fans crap all season long. It's pretty nice to be able to give these "die-hard" laker fans a ration of their own medicine.

I'm normally not a Lakers fan, but we have tickets to the NBA semi-finals and finals if the Lakers win.

So I hope, hope, hope they win...just so I can say I've been to an NBA finals! ;)

Pardon my drunken optimism, but i like the SPURS chances against anyone else the NBA throws at us!!

You know lifesaver, this is pretty ironic, but the last time i spent a summer in SA was the summer of '99 :D I'm moving back to SA this summer on June 1st, which would probably be about the start of the finals.....coincidence? :p


So, this is how i see the next round playing out, i think the Mavs will win the series against the Kings...then we got an I-35 West. Conf. Finals. SPURS in 6 ;)

and how sweet it is for D-Rob, in his final season, to get to eliminate Shaq and the fakers. Shaq, for all the trash you talk about D-Rob, by the end of this season he's only gonna have one less ring than you, and WORLDS more class ;)

The spurs are awesome I'm sooo glad to be born and raised and still living in SAN ANTONIO!!! I remember the spurs when they were playing in Hemisphere Arena and when they played in the Alamodome with Vinny DelNegro and Avery Johnson!! I have been a fan since my first game at 4 years old!! We are soooo going to take it this year... well i hope because the party in SA when we won the last one... WOW....EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO STAY AT MY PLACE TO PARTY when we win the championship.. heck i'll be happy if we just make it to the finals!!!

I really wanna play the MAVS... texas teams in the finals because TEXAS IS THE BEST!!!!

Yes! I have been a Kings fan since I was 6 (when they first moved to Sacto). I suffered through all of those intolerable seasons, so it's friggin' awesome to see them winning games. :D Hopefully they can pull it together tomorrow night.

I've always liked the Spurs. They are such a classy team

I may live in Dallas but I don't care for the Mavericks... I do agree that the Spurs are a class team with integrity, and Coach Pop keeps the team in line (he's a grad from the Air Force Academy, '70). You don't see the Spurs living it up like other teams.

Unfortunately, the ride is over for the Kings. :) They knew they had a hard time without the inside presence of Chris Webber. While I'm sorry for C-Webb, It's time for someone else to win the NBA Championship.
