i've been getting so teary-eyed throughout this episode!

This is so depressing! :(

i knew it!! i'm so excited they ended up together!!

I loved that ending.....I was getting a little worried though.

oh my god, so good...i was bawling throughout...such a great episode and ending to the series :)

Roomie and I watched it. I bawled during Jen's video to her daughter. SSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY about the ending though!!! I think they went out on a really high note!

I loved the ending...I thought it was PERFECT! I was wondering if they were going to say anything about Lily and Alexander...I'm glad they did, it just added to it!

My sister is royally pissed off though...she liked Dawson.

I think I'm the only person on the face of the earth that hates Pacey . . . but I don't like Dawson that much either! It was sort of a toss-up as to who I wanted to see Joey end up with.

I cried and cried throughout the entire 2 hours. I knew that Joey should/would end up with Pacey, but something inside of me wanted to see her end up with Dawson. I think the ending should of been a bit "mushier." I loved the show and am super sad that it is ending. :(

I am so upset! I wanted a Dawson and Joey ending so bad. I wanted ANdie to come back and be w/ Pacey. I don't or didn't like Pacey during the whole Joey phase. And I think Dawson loves her, I mean why else would he create a show about her. Ahhh....I'm so upset. But it was good until the end. The whole Jen thing was amazing.

i swear i read somewhere that andie was coming back for this episode.... i wonder what happened...

They filmed scenes with Andie but they got cut for time. :(

I read at the forums on televisionwithoutpity.com that the scenes with Andie were cut for times sake.

I LOVED it. I love Pacey & Joey together, the ending was perfect. This show has sucked lately, but this was a great ending.

Uh what happened? I'm not a big D fan, but I heard someone was going to die? What is the deal with Jen taping a vid for her daughter? she had a kid or was the show projecting the future?

Wow, did you really miss the whole show? Jen died because of heart problems and pacey and joey ended up together(yeah! I was very scared when she was talking to jen. This by far has been one of the saddest episodes on tv. I have truly enjoyed watching this series and I feel like I have learned from it. I knda grew up with it, I was in 9th grade when it started. They tried to ccensor the show here (MS) and we protested outside of the cable station.:mad: Is anyone else so sad about seeing this go as I am?

I loved the ending! It was perfect..even Katie Holmes said so. I'm a huge dork, but I've always wanted Pacey and Joey together! And what about Doug and Jack??? It was a great finale.

I watched too and even though i havent watched in a long time i got all teary eyed, especially with the little flash in's of the way older episodes.....i used to watch the show in middle school..i feel ive grown up with it. so sad..

the ending was cute, but i thought joey and dawson were gonna end up together... i dont particuarly like dawson..but whatever..it was cute :)

That is me too. I was in 10th and I am super sad the show ended. I always used to try to relate it to my life. (man what a dork I am!)

And whoever mentioned that the show has been sucking lately, i agree. I was like this is it; for the show ending. (But I still taped them anyway ;) ) Tonights episode totally made up for it though. I loved it!!! Yeaaaaa for Joey and Pacey. I also thought it was very cute that Joey and Pacey were watching "The Creek" and then they called Dawson. I was happy that it all worked out and no one ended up hating anyone.
(oooooh and Jen made me cry!!)

i think that this episode and last weeks were so much better because kevin williamson came back and wrote them. i think the previous writer just got too off track.. i mean, pacey a stockbroker?? what was that?? but then kevin williamson came in and steered the writing back to how it was when it first started...


and someone asked and i don't think it was answered, but the show was projected about five years in the future and had them all coming back to capeside for dawson's moms wedding...

I have to admit, I've never been a big Dawson's fan and I only watched it sporadically....basically when there wasn't anything to watch, but I was very impressed with tonight's finale. Tonight it seemed like you didn't have to know EVERYTHING that happened in the past five years to appreciate the episode.

I'm glad that the show's in syndication on TBS so I can catch up on the five years I missed. :)

Oh. My. God. BEST EPISODE OF DAWSON'S CREEK EVER!!! I can not BELIEVE how much I cried! I think I cried throughout the entire two hours. I am SO glad Pacey and Joey ended up together. I just about melted when Pacey told her that "the simple act of being in love with you is enough for me". AHHHHH!!! I am so sad to see this show go, I've been watching it since the 9th grade. :(

I have to admit I haven't kept up on Dawson's Creek over the past couple of years. I usually watched the show once a month if I got the chance. How out of the loop was I??? I didn't even know Jen had a baby!!

Ok, so I hated the show the whole time it was on, but I watched the last 3 episodes. I was very happy to see Joey and Pacey end up together since it wasn't the stupid soulmate crap that I expected. lol

i wish i hadn't stopped watching last year now! I watched from the first episode when i was a freshman in high school until about Novenber of last year. I just got to the point where i couldn't handle the randomness of it all. I couln't watch last night because of our greek week speaker. i wish i knew more about what happened. :(

no one knew... it was part of the whole aspect of this episode being five years in the future.

I loved last nights episode. I started watching the show when it first aired, but stoped when they went off to college abd only watched a few episodes. But I watched last night and cried through the whole thing. It was so sad, yet so poignant. It's still sad this morning. I'll have to continue to watch it on TBS to catch up with the episodes I missed.

I started watching DC when it started (I was in 10th grade). It was awsome cause the characters and I were the same age. I grew up watching this show. It became a huge part of my life. The fact that I still watch this show and don't even talk to my actual real life friends from high school anymore, it's like a part of my life is ending.
The series finale was great!! My friends and I had a DC farwell party for the ending. I love the fact that Jack and Dougie got together and he finally came out of the closet. After all those years of Pacey making fun of Dougie. I'm also glad that they didn't kill off Grams during the 5 year gap, and that she would see Jen soon. Dawson finally gets a meeting with Speilburg at the end. (I think the should have asked him to do a cameo apperearence) Best of all that Joey picked Pacey in the end. (I was hoping they would end it with them together)
I'm still very sad that there will be nothing to look forward to on Wednesday night, but everything was nicely done, wraped tight in a pretty bow.
Goodbye Dawson's Creek! I'll miss you!

oh, i forgot... the played the best collection of DC songs from over the years. totally classic!!

and didn't you love how they used the words to the theme song at the end on the creek?

By far the best episode in a long time, and my god, I think I went through nearly a whole box of tissues!! I cried from the time that Jen collapsed until it was over I think....DAMN THEM!! I'm glad the last episode was so good, but it made me wish it was still continuing. But, the WB has taken off my 2 favorite shows ever now, Felicity and Dawson, so I guess it's time for me to be an adult LOL. Oh, and I LOVE that Pacey & Joey ended up together.

I totally agree...if Kevin Williamson hadn't been involved with the finale, I don't think it would have even been half as good!

What's the song "say good night, not goodbye"? I looked it up but couldn't find it. I really wish they had showed Andie though.:(

You know, at first I was suprised they left Andie out, but after thinking about it, I really don't think there was any real reason for her to be included.

I too am sad to see the show end. I am relieved I am not the only one who cried all the way through the episode!!
