I looked at this thread earlier and said "nah, I won't respond" because it's hard for me to talk about myself, but what they heck! This'll give me practice when I write up my accomplishments when applying for the VIP award at my job!

I'm tooting my own horn because (in no particular order) I am:

intelligent (with common sense and book sense)
a good wife
a good mother
a good daughter and granddaughter
a good friend
a strong Black woman
a hard worker (working a job, raising a family, active in church and working on my MA in Counseing Education)
a God-loving woman
honest

I'm a swimmer, a percussionist, a great runner, I roller skate
(big up Empire Roller skating Rink in B.K.) and I am an artist. An original painting hangs in my living room.

Honor student, active in Student Government & Amer. Market. Assoc.

Daily I cook, clean, study, help my baby w/ her H.W. & keep my man :D happy :D

Started attending church again. I've turned my life around ya'll. I'm not EVEN gonna go there (WIP)

And

I can do nails and hair. Weaves, braids, short or long. Fiber wraps, acrylic airbrush or paint.

Cause that's how us divas get down.

I had to edit to add: I'm a great best friend. Even though I have alot of them, I've had some of the same friends for over 10 years.

I have been on the Dean's List for 3 straight semesters

I have a GOOD paying job (eager: I also became a Federal employee @ 19, 2 years next month)

Unlike most of my friends, I DO NOT have any kids

I am a great friend

I've heard of the percolator, although I've never seen how the dance is done myself. From what I do know about the dance, it was done primarily to house music, and peeps from New Jersey were the ones who were the percolating experts (go Club Zanzibar!!!). :D

I was introduced to the "percolator" when I went to D.C. It was funny that almost everyone else at my school knew and loved this dance. It was so popular to everyone else. Well, I still can't do it.

I've heard of it and have seen some people do it, but I can't do it worth a lick. I like to watch people dance anyway!!! :p

I am in the midst of starting my own travel/event coordinating business and I completed my first honeymoon package. I cannot wait until I get my business liscense, and I can start charging for this.
