bmhadpi is an International Officer. The bidder with aprilfool's in it has been bidding on a LOT of ADPi items lately. I was tempted, but it's out of my price range now! :)

Just a heads up for ebay cruisers: I couldn't help but notice a "new kid on the block" bidding high on ebay, a ty608 (not sure of the number). I would believe that this is a sockpuppet for the "other" ty who was mentioned in past posts.

So I've quit doing this for the most part but since it's only at $1.30 currently, I did anyways.

Am I the only one who keeps noticing that bidders' names are increasingly showing up as a****b ?

it's a new privacy feature for ebay... I believe only the seller can see all the names.

if you are logged in, and you look at the past bids of an item you can bid on, the only one that will show up normally is yours.

I think at the end of the auction the winner's ebay name is shown to everyone though.

Re: new eBay privacy feature... I hate it! I can't see if I'm bidding against someone "safe" or not! And, when the auction's done, you cannot see the names of everyone else who has placed losing bids!

I'm annoyed that I signed up for Ebay Mobile Alerts *just* for this auction, only to NOT receive an alert!! However, I'm glad I didn't have to even consider bidding against the ultimate high-bidder - it mighta resulted in my not-eating for TWO WEEKS!!;):(
