Pop or Soda
 

Where you are from do they call it Soda or Pop, Coke or Pepsi.

We call it Soda or Coke here in Fresno.

I call it soda...most people where I live probably call it Pop or call it Coke/Pepsi.

In Pittsburgh, you damn well better call it pop!

If you ask for a soda, you'll get ice cream in it

Here in the South, it's always either soda or Coke!

I've been reformed to call it a soda, but in my heart I still know that pop is a carbonated beverage and that a sucker is candy on a stick.

This is a conversation you'd hear in Oklahoma:

"What kind of Coke do you want?"

"Dr. Pepper"

"Coke"

But it will always be worth reviving until everyone comes to their senses and realizes that it is POP!!!! :p

When I lived in STL it was Soda so I call it soda, but when I moved to IL they refer to it as pop, so where i'm at it's half and half

yup, here, too.....actually that's more AL....in KY it depends....some say "pop"....which sounds sooo funny to me.

Even if I moved I think I will always refer to it as soda, I laugh every time I hear the word pop being used for soda.

Call it what you want except for "So-dee"!!!!! That drives me nuts!

Right after I got to school in Ohio someone asked me if I wanted a pop and I had no clue what they were talking about!

It's Pop is Canada, and that's the wasy it should be! If I hear someone say soda hear I'll know they're not Canadian.

:D Me too. My dad has called it so-dee water since I was a kid and it drives me crazy (he does it on purpose).

Otherwise, pretty much everyone in Texas calls it Coke.

In the western part of KY you say "pop" if you say "coke" you get a standard coca-cola.

Pop/Soda/Coke in England, Germany and Australia is called "Lemonade".

i get embarrassed for people who say "pop". it must suck to be ignorant;)

Or as it's shown in my set of German Coca-Cola glasses "koffeinhaltige Limonade" (literally, "caffeinated lemonade").

South Florida calls it a 'coke' or 'soda', confirming TaraHopeful.

Here in Michigan it is pop. And a coke is a coke and pepsi is pepsi.

Tonic, if you're an old fashioned Bostonian. Otherwise it's soda.

Its soda out here. (I like the smiley face w/pepsi cup).:)
