NEW YORK (AP) - 90210 will be a destination again when Fox brings together the stars of the popular '90s teen drama series.

"Beverly Hills, 90210: 10-Year High School Reunion," is scheduled to air at 9 p.m. EDT May 11.

Jason Priestley, Luke Perry, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth and Gabrielle Carteris are among the actors who will discuss their memories of the show that turned them into teen idols.

But Tori Spelling - the daughter of series executive producer Aaron Spelling - won't be taking part because she's busy working on other projects, the network said Wednesday. Brian Austin Green won't make it because he's shooting a film in Toronto, and Ian Ziering also will be absent.

"90210" is Fox's longest-running drama series, premiering in October 1990 and ending in May 2000. It followed the scandals, romances and heartbreaks of twins Brandon and Brenda Walsh and their wealthy friends at Beverly Hills High School, which they graduated from in 1993.

With 38% of the cast not attending, it's not much of a reunion, now is it?

I WAS excited too, but after finding out 3 would be missing, it made me :( .

I feel like I've seen two (IZ and BAG) in bit parts, so I'm not anxious to see them. I'm surprised Papa Spelling didn't change some dates around so that Tori could attend--has anyone seen her in anything since 90210?

I am very much looking forward to seeing Shannen Doherty. :D

I heard that Tori Spelling wasn't attending the reunion because her and Shannon Doherty couldn't stand to be in the same room together.

Never was very big into BH 90210.

High school reunions... what a royal pain in the a** to plan! I'm the committee chairman for my high school's 20-year reunion (North Miami Senior High (North Miami, FL)). Good thing about it is that I have a reunion planning company handling most of the work; biggest headache is trying to contact alumni I haven't heard from in at least 10 and sometimes 20 years!. Wish me luck... the big show is slated for Labor Day weekend in Fort Lauderdale.

BTW - Is it just a show where the cast will get together and do flashbacks, or will it be a real episode?

I find this much more believable than the statement "she's busy working on other projects." What? Some Lifetime movies?

not many people want to go back to their class reunion
they don't care about the other people in their class
besides, i don't talk to anyone i graduated with
i was friends with people at other high schools

i am stoked for this!! i was addicted to 90210!!

I always had the hots for Andrea Zuckerman (I know...I'm really weird)!:) because she just seemed to me to be the only one that I would ever imagine being friends with. Brenda, Kelly, Donna...PLEASE!!! They were SO full of themselves. That's why it made NO sense when someone who was SUPPOSEDLY as smart as Andrea was would get knocked up, not go to Yale, and get married. WHAT???? I know that she was pregnant in real life (I mean, how old WAS she when she played a teenager, 30 or so?), but still, didn't they have condoms at West Beverly??? Wouldn't that guidance counselor, Mrs. Teasley or whatever her name was, tell her about the consequences when boys and girls get together??? And SHE was the Valedictorian!!!:rolleyes:

So, is this 90210 reunion for the class of 90200 or 90205? Anyway, that's a long time in the future -- why do we care?

I think she was 30 when the show started. I figure she is about 43.

I think Andrea was 33 when she left the show..so yeah, she's up there.

I am so excited to see this!! I lived on 90210 when I was younger!

I want to see Jason Priestly after his accident. He is lucky that he can walk. :)

According to the trusty Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com), Gabrielle Carteris was born in 1961, and joined the cast of 90210 in 1990, which would have made her 29. 29 plus 13...42? Yikes :eek:

Maybe her pregnancy was a way for the writers to slowly write her off the show, being that she was that much older. With a baby, she really didn't have time for the West Beverly/California University shenanigans.
