Hello!! This board is pretty dismal....BTW I'm new around these boards...can anyone tell me how to make a pretty sig to show off our wonderful greek letters..or even change the font?! I'm clueless!!:p

Hey, I am stuck in Indiana. My roommates can't pay bills (well it would help if they could even look for jobs) so my internet got shut off. So, I haven't been on for a while, but I will try to get on more often.

To set up a signature, click on "user cp" at the top, then click on "edit profile". About halfway down on the profile page is a text box for your signature. When you post, make sure the "show signature" box is checked, and your sig will show up.

To do Greek letters you need to use the symbol font. For instance, here's the code for my sig:

[ font=symbol ][ color=green ][ b ]AEF[ /b ][ /color ][ /font ] ... Multa Corda, Una Causa

You will need to remove the spaces that are just within the brackets... I placed them there so that you would see the code, not the results of the code.

Ok...let's see how the new sig comes out.....

it was too small..and now its huge...let's see how much it went down..this is struggle...:(

I have dark red...yours looks deeper.

I didn't know you could use ANY color. I chose out of the color choices that are given in the tool bar.:rolleyes:

hmmm...I changed it to maroon but it doesn't look any deeper. It might be the font size, but I don't think so...:confused:

I think it looks the same...and I didn't even pay attention to the title bar, I just went ahead and typed in maroon ;)

PSU Sig Kap...were you at Penn State for the fall semester? One of my good friends here(at WVU) had a friend join the Sig Kap chapter there in the fall...:)

Yes I go to WVU, I just got back from our chapter(theta chi) anniversary luncheon. :D
And the new members name is Allison, and I can't remember her last name, but she's from Hamilton NJ:)

My cousin goes to your school. She graduates in December. I didn't realize we had a chapter there until this past winter.
(She's not involved in Greek Life)

I'm horrible, I know....I'm online all the time (as many GCers know, I talk to like 2354968468 of you on IM), but for some reason I never think to come to the SK forum any more....Could have something to do with the fact that there is NEVER ANYTHING GOING ON IN THIS FORUM!!!! :p We need to get oru thread goin like some of the others!!!! We could take lessons from like AKA or DST, lol......

I was the same way for a long time. I'm still very picky and cautious about what or when to reply to threads.

As you can see, I've been a registered member since Dec. 2000 and I only have seven hundred and some odd posts...compare that to some of our other greek chat members.;)

i'm here i'm here. . .i think one issue is that it's near the end of the semester for most people and we've just got a million things going on! i know i do! things seem to get more active on here when there's something in the sigma kappa world going on, ie convention and recruitment. anyway that's my .02p (pence cuz i'm in london now) ;)

sorry wasn't able to talk to you the other day, digital. very bad day.

i've been around the forums lately, just not so actively. i finally have found a full time job working at the local paper as a secretary/ sales person. not much time anymore for me to be online. i'm working full time at the paper, part time at the YMCA, and volunteering at the local access tv station. (i need to get experience in my field so i can actually find a job in the field eventually).
so that's my excuse for not being on the forum lately. we seriously do need to start doing some fun threads. i always respond to dst threads cuz they are so much fun. i'll find something fun to start a thread about and just do it.

Sorry I haven't been able to post more, this computer sometimes doesn't let sign in to greek chat. I am going to be in Muncie, IN all summer long :( but oh well. The good thing is that I get to live with my big sis now :) We have recruitment retreat in July with the Gamma Gamma chapter at ISU, I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm here too girls:D I've been so busy with work and when I have checked GC, I haven't been posting. I promise to make up for it ;)

Cute sig!! I like it.. As far as most of us that actually have our letters in our sig's, I think mine's the smallest...Hehehe. O well. Bigger isn't always better :p
