Don't ever get this drunk!
|
While I doubt I'd ever get that drunk, I know I've got friends who love me enough to make sure that I never ever find myself on an icy sidewalk.

Especially considering that I don't think there are many icy sidewalks in Hawaii:D :D |
I wonder if it is right to mention in the paper that she threw up and peed on herself.
|
That is just wrong!

I've been that drunk a few times---it's amazing how comfortable a snowbank can be at times. Though i never pissed myself, i have woken up with vomit on my t shirt.
|
I'm gone for a year and this is what happens there now!!!

It makes me wonder where her friends were though. How could ANYONE have left her if she was in such horrible condition that she did all of that? |

A person could actually die from alcohol poisoning too, in a worst case scenario. |
My sister got so drunk that she got in bed still drunk and proceeded to puke all over her pillow and sheets and then went back to sleep in her puke. Anyway, the girls on her floor decided to put her in the shower in her underwear to sober her up. They were freshman and thought that it would help. That's when they undressed her, stripped her bed, and she woke up in the shower wearing only her underwear.
A few weeks later she went out, got drunk, and woke up in Connecticut. |
I don't like to get drunk. Did that my entire freshman year of college (okay, well not as drunk as the girl in the article apparently was) and got it out of my system. Sure I don't mind having a few drinks and maybe catching a nice buzz, but I really hate being drunk. I don't like not being in control of myself, and also I hate the way I feel when I'm drunk. Like, maybe I'm getting old or something, but to me being drunk doesn't feel good. It makes me feel... blah. It's pretty sad that my love affair with alcohol is already pretty much over, since I'm only 21!!!

SSS, I admire you for your convictions! Bless you!
But, you will wake up everyday and have nothing to look forward to as the day goes along!:( Now, if you were a professional, that is a horse of a different color! Is that the right analogy? No birds of a feather doesnt apply here! Dogs and fleas? Need helpo, no not alpo dammit! SSS, I worry about your well being and frame of mind! You sound sane, and if that is the case, you should not be on this site! I have my own shrink who comes in once a week and buys cigs and we talk! She laffs and says Tom, you are Crazy, I tell Her, Hell Doc, I know that so what! I will see her in about 4 days!http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmili...ylsurprise.gif |
LOL! That's really sad, honestly.
That's why I've been straight edge for a while now. No drugs. No drinking. No Smoking. No Casual Sex. And I'm happier than I've ever been! |
I wouldn't do anything if I saw a drunk person walking on a icy sidewalk, I would be CTFU.

Been there, done that, gone the t-shirt. More than once. Although, I don't think I actually urinated myself . . . at least not in front of anyone ;)

Wow, I can't believe that this girl's friends would let her leave like that. Either I have really great friends, or this poor girl has really shitty people pretending to be her friend!
And for the record, on my 21st birthday, I decided that I wanted to sleep in a patch of grass and threatened to punch anyone who tried to move me! Of course, my bday is at the end of May, so it wasn't that cold outside. Even then, I still wasn't that drunk to urinate and get sick all over myself! Yucky! |
Oh god..... yeah I've been there alright :)
We had a hot tub oustide for on New Year's Bash at a party we had in the army. I was so drunk i jumped right in the hot tub in jeans and a shirt.... then got out and decided to make snow angels...... but I was OKAY because I had my sunglasses on (or so my reasoning went at the time). |

[/QUOTE That same thing happened to me a few weeks ago.. but i had been drink these green drinks and so it was all green vomit. It got everywhere. All over my sheets, pillows, duvet cover, notebooks, seriously everything was covered. My roommate just said "go the bathroom" and went back to sleep. I was like who does that?! Just because she has no friends doesn't mean she needs to hate me for being social... I don't get it! But yeah.... luckily, i have some really awesome friends who helped me out with washing everything... yeahhhh i won't be drinking coniac for a long time! Then this other time in new orleans my friends and i were all so trashed and i fell. We were all so drunk that a homeless man had to help me stand up. Then we stopped at this krispy creme right outside the quarter to use the bathroom and i didn't want to wait in line for the women's... so i went in the mens. I didn't realize it, but i guess i had blacked out because the next thing i know my friend is helping me put my jacket on and helping up off the floor. Gross, I know! So many more stories, kind of ashamed... meh well |
Yuck-I have not yet been so drunk that I peed or yakked on myself(and when I say yet here, that doesn't mean I plan to in the future....). However, I did get drunk in Houston once-and woke up at 4 a.m in San Antonio(4 hours drive, but I wasn't driving!)! That was interesting...

One of my friends is an RA and heard someone yelling for her late one night. She walked out and some drunk girl had shat all over the hall. It was horrible!!!!!!!

I feel bad for RA's (especially ones in freshman dorms).... they have to put up with shit like this all the time. |

They would even come out with us on occasion (ugh, drinking age is 19 and at least when I started so were most of the first-years). My Don was a guy and he was like a good mother hen, and made sure we all got back home safe and sound. I've heard that a lot of universities don't give alcohol training during Orientation/firstweek. Is this true? |
I didn't have an alchohol training when I moved into the dorms- all my RA said was that she didn't care what went on as long as she wasn't involved in it. cute huh?
The only time the school has any kind of drug/alchohol awareness things is at the beginning of every semester for pledges and athletes. They do a huge thing in the gym, motivational speaker, handouts, the works. But nothing is done for the other 95% of the students that go here. |
Is the most frequent sentence out of your mouth "this one time when i was drunk...." or " I was so wasted and...." or... "This would be so much cooler if i were drunk..."
|
Lesson learned along time ago, if you feel quesy, go find a quiet place, Puke your guts up, go back in and get what you were drinking and flush your mouth and sip slowly. Get a ride back to House/Dorm.:)
megerts, I speak EarpSpeak, what is it you are spaking? Vat did ya just say? |
