I registered on GC on February 21, 2001 and I lost my GC "virginity" on February 22, 2001. My first post was titled: Still Hopeful in Richmond after being declined an invitation for membership in Delta on my first try.

I registered in September 2001 and my first post was on 10-18-2001. This is what I said in the 'What Songs Make You Cry" thread:

I cry every time I hear the Mississippi Children's Choir's version of 'His Eye is on the Sparrow'. That little boy just broke me down. I also cried when Aaron Hall released the video to 'I Miss You' because my sister was pregnant at the time and I scared me. Now, I cry tears of joy when I hear Jill Scott's 'The Way You Love Me'. It reminds me of how my husband makes me feel.

I was courting GC for awhile before I decided to break it. I broke my September 2002. I forgot my first post!

I registered on March 22, 2001 but did not post until March 29, 2001. Ah yes, I was a freshman, wiiiiiiiiide open, and wanted to know as much as I possibly could. I started a thread titled "Question for NPHC sororites" (with "sororities" misspelled) in the rush forum. Wow, have I grown. :o :)

I first heard about GC in March, but I didn't post until 6-12-01.
That was the same day I registered.

Hi all,

I registered on 11/30/2001 and my first post was on the same day. Membership into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated was not extended to me (I actually did not even receive an interview) in the Spring of 2001 (in undergrad) but I wanted to continue the pursuit (hence the name TruePursuit). Unfortunately, I recently pursued membership again (at the Alumnae level) and was again denied membership. Although, I did receive an interview this time around so at least I got further than I did the time before! And the pursuit continues....

Hoping To Answer The Challege
Hello, I just attened rush, turned in everything that I needed to turn in, and I am waiting patiently to see if I am chosen. I just have one question. I just transfered and I am kind of afraid that I will not be picked because the the Delta's at my school does not really know me. I have attened ALL of thier functions, (and they have had some good ones 2) So I was wondering if a person is not chosen, do the women of Delta Sigma Theta write a letter of rejection, or should you just wait until they introduce the new line at the end of the semester. I hope and pray that I am one of the chosen ones. I have prayed about it, and left it in God's hands.

Although I lurked on GC for five, six months my first post was 9-1-03. Just as in real life, I was hollin' at the AKAs :cool:
