Here's the link!!

Hopefully they can produce some bodies! Otherwise Saddam and his boys will be turning up at the KFC for dinner with Elvis for years to come!

Peaches-n-Cream 04-07-2003 11:22 PM

I just heard this on the news.

AXJules 04-07-2003 11:22 PM

Ok please don't laugh at me, but I have something I've been wondering about for awhile.
He's got like 10 body doubles. How do we know that they killed HIM and not one of his clones?
I know we've been watching him for many years but I mean, come on, if we don't know if it was him on the news for the past couple weeks making speeches, how do we know its actually him we've been following?

DNA? :p

They said on the news the hole in the ground is so deep in the ground, they might never know who was really in the building :o

Supposedly they were in a military meeting or something.

Hootie 04-07-2003 11:25 PM

LMAO!
My coworker JUST told me this joke today and it goes a little something like this:

"Did you hear that we killed Saddam's two sons?"
::shocked person remarks::
"Yeah, now all we have to do is Baghdad"

okay...pretty lame...but ironically funny!

texas*princess 04-07-2003 11:26 PM

lol

AXJules 04-07-2003 11:26 PM

Thanks for the explanation, girl!
Still, if we completely deleted the property, I don't see us finding DNA any time soon.

LMFAO @ seeing Saddam at KFC- him and Osama are SO gonna be the Elvis of the Las Vegas world

Cluey 04-07-2003 11:27 PM

I wonder if Sadaam has left the building, yet?

The Elvis comparisions just don't seem right :)

LOL!!!

Here's a snippet of the article if you don't want to read the whole thing:

Quote:

The intelligence information was considered so reliable that it justified a massive attack in a residential area of the al-Mansour district of western Baghdad despite the administration’s declared emphasis on avoiding civilian casualties, diplomatic and military sources said.
Officials quickly called in an Air Force B-1B bomber to strike the location. At 2 p.m. Monday (6 a.m. ET Sunday), the warplane dropped four GBU-31 Joint Direct Attack Munition weapons, the 2,000-pound smart bombs known as “bunker busters,” leaving giant holes in the ground, the officials said.
Diplomatic officials and officials at the Pentagon told NBC News that they were highly confident that they killed everyone at the meeting, but they said it could take a day or two before they knew for sure.

Cluey 04-07-2003 11:41 PM

What if he hasn't left the building, yet? It would be funny as all get out if, during the next taped speech he made, he was dressed in a bedazzling outfit like Elvis.

I'm getting loopy. It must almost be time for bed.

AXJules 04-07-2003 11:46 PM

LMGDAO @ a rhinstone studded Saddam..............but seriously I think he'd look good in a jumpsuit. That would be dead sexy.

Seriously though.

If he did indeed leave the building, then we are outta luck. ;)

AlphaGamDiva 04-07-2003 11:56 PM

i had to read that "baghdad" joke about 4 times b/4 i got it.... i gotta quit that whole smoking crack thing....

i hope we got'em, though, for real.....although i have to admit, in my lil mind, them being a big crater in the earth was not how i imagined it would be. i just kept seeing that scene from austin powers where he's driving that roller thing telling the hinchman to "move! move!" and all he did was stand there and scream...from 40 ft away...........maybe that's just me, though. :p

RUgreek 04-08-2003 12:04 AM

I'm sorry, but since the Iraqi Information Minister said that attack never took place (and that we are losing the war, running away screaming for mercy, lost in space, etc., etc.), I can't accept this. Nothing is more pure than getting your information directly from the camels... i mean horses mouth.

If you're talking about that Iraqi guy who made comments similar to those late last night (I think Central time was around 2 am.. I was up studying..) I think that's a load of crap! The guy who was making those comments was doing so just blocks away from where US Army tanks were.

Do you think an Iraqi person is actually going to hold a press conference to tell the world they are losing? I wouldn't think so. They are trying to rally their troops & people by telling everyone they are doing a fabulous job.

AlphaGamDiva 04-08-2003 12:25 AM

RUGreek...i think i love you. that minister guy (aka: baghdad bob) is a riot...i would love it for some us/british soldier to run up behind his ass and put bunny ears behind his head and wave "hi, mom!"

RACooper 04-08-2003 12:28 AM

Well hopefully they have killed Saddam... although that then makes him a martyr.

On a side note.... CNN's translators are pretty shitty.... god even I could spot the translation errors with out having to ask one of the brothers in the house (we have a couple from the region.. Iran, Dubai, Qatar, etc). For example the guy never said that they US soldiers were committing suicide... he said that they were uselessly expending their lives against the walls of Bagdhad.... while its still a load of crap, that doesn't explain the half-assed attempts at translation from CNN. My favourite is how the translator misses quotations from the Qu'ran.... it'd be a bit like missing a biblical quote.

Nahhh... I'd rather see some SpecOps guy give him the standard SpecOps greeting on live TV... two shots in the chest, one in the head! :D

AXJules 04-08-2003 12:32 AM

Back to the issue @ hand......
Saddam. In a Khaki green rhinestone jumpshit.
Doing the pelvis shake thing.

I know you're all feeling me on this one.

wreckingcrew 04-08-2003 01:08 AM

i'm actually picturing sadaam more like this.....

http://www.filmmonthly.com/Video/Art...ki/bigl-11.jpg

Hey, i'm taking a bowling class this semester, i bet i could take him.

:D I dunno though, i hear his bowling shoes are listed 61st on the list of WMD's due to their toxicity.

Kitso
KS 361 times i'd beat saddam in bowling, and if i couldn't, i'd just punk him with a rusty crowbar from my truck.

Hootie 04-08-2003 01:08 AM

LMFAO!
Yall CRACK ME UP!

Seriously!

Loved AlphaGamDiva's thought on the british soldier too! GOOD PLAN!

swissmiss04 04-08-2003 01:14 AM

Don't forget the gold lame turban and the sequinned camel blanket. lol. Seriously tho. The Iraqi information officer (Tariq Aziz???) is about as reliable as a swiss cheese condom. There was one time he was on a non-CNN network saying "There are no Coalition forces at the Baghdad airport...no one..." and the other half of the screen showed Coalition forces at the airport. I laughed.

omg, just had a flashback of Jim Carey doing his skit on In Living Colour .... You know, that one where they have the news guy interviewing someone next to him and Jim's in the background pulling stunts and stuff.

Damn, I miss that show, but yea back to the topic on hand...

I dunno, i guess i have a different job set up for S.H., personally I see him hosting a talk show in Iraq, kind of like Jerry Springer meets Survivor. Haven't finished the script yet, I'll keep ya posted :)

Nope... that's not Tariq Aziz. Aziz wears BCGs ('birth control glasses' - ugly-a** eyewear), has gray hair and is the only Christian in Saddam's government. I forget what the guy's name is who's information minister. Still, the guy deserves two in the chest, one in the head. :D

Supposedly they were in a military meeting or something.

Four GBU-31 JDAMs reportedly took the place out.

(GBU - Glide Bomb Unit -- JDAM: Joint Direct Attack Munition), each a Mk 84 2000-lb high explosive bomb with a GPS unit and steerable fins. Basically a $20k upgrade to a 'dumb' bomb to make it smart; a lot less expensive than the laser-guided Paveway 'smart' bombs.)

True... but these guys better be wearing K-pots (the new Kevlar helmets) and lotsa body armor... too many whackos looking for an excuse to take potshots! :)

AXJules 04-08-2003 11:12 AM

If you recall, I put Saddam in the jumpsuit b/c of the Elvis references.
Back to the best idea ever.................................

Khaki rhinestone jumpsuit Saddam rises above bombed area. He's standing on a flying camel. Cut to song; "A little less conversation, a little more action" His sons are also sky surfing on camels, but not as flashy. Hell, we'll give them donkeys.....We then watch Saddam ascend to the skies (don't worry- that camel is making a sharp as f*** U-turn to hell)..........

It could happen.

All this while "Highway to the Danger Zone" plays in the background:D

swissmiss04 04-08-2003 12:37 PM

Thanks for clearing that up for me ASOU. And I agree...

Peaches-n-Cream 04-08-2003 12:52 PM
