After reading the "invite" if you will in the IL, I"m SKEERIOUSLY considering making the trip out west.

I have to keep abreast of what's going on...ya know? ;)

It is going to be one SERIOUS MATTER!

I've made my travel arrangements. I can't wait!!!

I finally received my IL today. I was planning to attend, but now I have to go.

I'm planning on attending Leadership too! I'm excited because I hae to miss our RC this weekend.

Will have to pay the late fee and scramble to find a flight, but I may be there.

BTW I'm arriving Wed. morning. Anytime Wed. or Thurs. morning seems like the best time to meet.

So far, no one I know will be going, so I'll be by myself :(

I'm still trying to find DECENT air accommodations. :mad:

i'll be there early Wed. afternoon. i'm staying near the strip that night. i'm looking for things to do since i'll beat jus t about everyone in my chapter. i heard they had some nice shopping out there...i'm looking forward to seeing for myself:D

Soror, I lived there for five years. They do have good shopping, whether you want to spend $$$ (Fashion Show, Forum Shops, Grand Canal at the Venetian) or at the outlets.

That's where I plan to stay! Their rates are great, and it's right next to Paris.

I'm confirmed at Bally's. I completed my reservations yesterday. Yes, it's right next door to Paris.

Next on the list... flight. American has a great rate, but they are threatening to file bankruptcy. :confused: Should I be concerned?

outlets you say? hmmm...sounds good to me. i plan to check it all out. there should be some good sales going on about that time. oh, i will be attending the workshops-especially the ones on Friday, i registered for. i don't wanna give the wrong impression:D

I'll be arriving Wednesday night on a flight with at least one Soror from my chapter, so I won't be lonely. I, too, think the best time to meet would be Thursday morning. I'm staying at the Paris - with 2 roomies; really hoping nobody is too "high maintenance" (could get ugly). :eek: :D

I received mine on Monday! This is my first conference. I am beyond excited. The fact that my best friend and my cousin are coming make it so much better.

Vegas is a go. I've been before and can't wait to see all of my sorors in the city of lights.

Well, I will join the rest of you in saying that I am super excited to be going to Vegas. If any of you need to purchase airline tickets, www.expedia.com seems to have some pretty good deals. I purchased my ticket through there for $184 round trip. It might be a good idea to check it out.

Also, someone mentioned something about greekchat sorors meeting up together. i think that's a great idea.

Soror Kodaka, I'm down for whatever! I have visited Las Vegas on numerous occasions, but I've never attended a show. However, Soror Pearl Essence and I WILL hit up the spa! Are you game?

I, too found my flight last Tuesday on expedia for $194 RT from NO.

Dang, Soror PearlEssence, you got a great deal, too. :D

Kodaka, I too wanted to see a show while I was in Vegas, but it was too expensive. However, I will loosen up the budget so that I can go with you. :)

It took me a while to get that great deal. I saw some for a little over $200, but they went down after that. Couldn't pass it up.

My travel's set. I'll be riding up with a couple of sorors on Wednesday morning, and riding back with one of my LS, her mom and her goddaughter on Sunday afternoon. What a relief.

It was impossible to get a decent-priced flight out of Vegas back to San Diego on Sunday afternoon or evening. Besides, in a car, you can get more stuff, more suitcases.

myself and other sorors from my chapter are staying at the Fairfield Inn. we got a good rate.

A few sorors and I are staying at Bally's

I am staying at the Hilton Grand Vacations. I really wanted to stay at the Paris, just to be closer, but I got a great villa at a good rate.

Well, I was planning to share a room with 2 Sorors in my grad chapter; one is the grad advisor to our undergrad chapter. It seems the undergrads have no money for a room, so 2 of them will be bunking with us (I suppose we will have to have a rollaway bed or something). How could I say no? I remember going to regionals and staying in a room with 6 Sorors as an undergrad and that $20 that I had to contribute seemed like a lot at the time. :rolleyes:

So, our room is going to be very "cozy." Remind me to pack an extra mirror (glad my hair is low maintenance). :p

Soror Steeltrap: so glad you were able to make transportation arrangements. I'm looking forward to meeting you at the conference - along with everyone else.

BTW, when and where do you all want to meet?
