ONE week from today is initiation and instillation of the Delta Sigma CHAPTER of Delta Gamma!!!

Yay! I've spent the last week trying to convince my best friend(who's your pledge sister) to go to formal! grr!

I'm not going either, so don't make her feel bad!

Phsss. When is it? I'll be your date! You really don't need a date, go with a group of sisters going stag...or (gasp) ask one of your guy friends to go!! Certainly you can find someone to take you!

April 26th...I asked girls to see if they were going w/o a date, and all said that they were not going to go w/o a date. It's really not a big deal to me. I still have 2 years left to go to formals!! :)

I got set up for my first formal on Saturday! My Big's Fiancee brought one of his Air Force friends. He was hot, but didn't have much of a personality! Oh well, I had FUN! Although his face is SO RED in the picture from presentation cause he was so shy!

Why does it say AXO about the photo?

AXO was one of the sororities at the social, so I guess the photo people just picked one and titled all the picks under AXO.

No, we don't have to pay for formal...we did have to chip in $5 each for semi-formal...but our dues are high enough to cover formal. I have no idea which one you are! Tell me! :D

I really think you need to go to formal....date or not. I didn't have my first formal until my second year in DG (2000) because we couldn't have one the year before. We always have to pay something for ours, but it is usually worth every penny. Your first formal will be one of your favorite events with your sisters. Go to as many as you can because those are the memories that last a long time. I agree with the rest of the girls....get a group going stag together or get a guy friend to go with you. Guys LOVE to go to sorority formals!! I know guys up here who compete with each other to go to DG formal.....maybe the guys down there will become that way to?
