Do you think this movie will be a thumbs up or a thumbs dowh?

I predict a thumbs down.

It was supposed to be released a while back. But, because of the D.C. snipers they posrponed it until now. I've heard nothing but good reviews and I think it will be better than some movies out right now.

i've been waiting for this for forever..watching the trailer it looks reaally intense..its supposed to be really good..

Isn't Collin Farrell (sp?) in it? I think it looks pretty good, my brother was making fun of me b/c I was talking about seeing it and he said no good movie could possibly come from something that's been shot entirely around a phone booth. But hey, we'll see. :D

How do they make a 2 hour movie out of a guy standing in a phone booth? This movie sounds pretty far fetched.

Has anyone seen the movie with Wesley Snipes and some chick..."Liberty Stands Still". Pretty much same storyline from what I can tell, only she was chained to a hotdog stand on her cell phone. Considering that it pretty much revolved around the one scene, it was actually pretty good!

I'm looking forward to it. Colin Farrel and Forest Whitaker are pretty good actors. And I think Keifer Sutherland has one of the creepiest voices ever in the trailers.

basically, from what i understand is colin farrell is walking past the phone booth when it rings..and he answers it..there is a sniper on top of a building that starts to pick people off..for some reason the police think its farrell, but he can't come out of the phone booth otherwise the sniper will kill him..he can't tell the police truth cuz again, the sniper will kill him or others..so hes stuck there..if you go and dl the full trailer it just looks really, really intense.

Yeah, that's why I predict a thumbs down.

is that Keifer Sutherland? I thought it was Kevin Spacey. Either way, they're kind of giving away the villian. But maybe thats not the point of the movie. I dunno. It could be okay. Colin Farrell is everywhere lately, isn't he? Right now I'm pretty set on seeing Basic this weekend. When does Phone Booth come out?

What I wanna know is, what made him walk past a random phone booth and answer the phone when it rings? Somebody got some 'splaining to do.

From what I've heard (without ruining the movie for anyone else), the sniper somehow knows alot about Farrel's character and uses this information against him while they're on the phone and with people in the crowd.

I don't know, but I'm always tempted to pick up a ringing pay phone, just because I'm curious to see who's on the other end. Of course, this movie will probably destroy my desire to ever do that again, but still. From the commercials, it does look kind of good. It's a neat idea.

Occasionally, I have answered ramdom phones and told them that they called the morgue or gynocologist's office.

Sounds interesting, but not a movie I will likely see in the theater.

Also, in the longer previews he's on the phone a lot, dealing with his clients or whatever (it appears he's a ticket scalper). He's sort of hanging out by the phone, and I got the impression the phone was one he used to do "business" with.

I wondered what happened to this movie.. I saw previews almost a year ago, and then it disappeared. I didn't make the connection to the D.C. snipers... but I'm glad it's coming out soon! :D

I saw this movie last night on DVD over at my parent's place. It was a pretty good movie! I didn't think it was completely realistic, but it was an edge of the seat thriller all the more!

I saw it in the theater... I was anticipating it so much because the trailers were so intense and I liked the unique concept... but it was kind of a let down. The movie flew by, I was like that's it? I was like HELLO, the delivery guy's voice did not sound like the caller's voice at all. Nonetheless, Colin was very good in it.

Colin's accent sucked hardcore. It was like, occasionally Italian, sometimes Brooklyn, a dash of Irish, and always changing.
