i'm an alpha gamma delta that transfered to austin peay from bgsu in ohio - so i kinda count myself as a tennessee greek and an ohio greek!!!!

I’m not in Tennessee but I watched the women’s basketball game tonight at dinner and I just wanted to comment on the Lady Volunteers Guard Brittany Jackson; very easy on the eyes.

ruhbekuhaopi--My boyfriend's little brother might be going to Rhodes next year. (It's his first choice, he just got in). What's Greek life like there? He's a triple legacy to Lambda Chi (dad), Kappa Sig (oldest brother), and Pika (other older brother, my boyfriend). They're from Austin, TX.

i got accepted to Vanderbilt University and i think i'm going to go there this fall. what should i expect from the Rush process?

Breathesgelatin, yes, I know Farragut. After I graduated from UT, I worked for a community newspaper out there, before I moved to a much bigger paper. I covered a story at the high school in 1990, when some stupid kid set off a bomb inside a locker.

I graduated from Central, but several of my chapter sisters when I was in college were Farragut grads, too. It's a huge school. Tell Lara a Knoxville alumna says hello and welcome!

I'm from TN, but I'm not greek yet. I'm going to UTK in the fall-even though I live minutes from UTM.

Ok i was not raised in the south though i went to college in the south... but my dad's family all hail from Tenn. Chattanooga and Catherage(spl? area).

My dad, my grand dad and my great grand dad all went to U of Tenn. My great grand dad was a St Supreme court judge for the great state of tenn. He also knew the Gore family.

So do i qualify as a Honorary Tenn.?

I was born in Jellico, TN, but I've never lived in TN.... although most of my family does live in Knoxville, I live in Louisville, KY.. My cousin graduated from UT Knoxville this year...
I fell like I grew up there because I used to spend my summers with my grandmother in Knoxville.. I guess thats pretty close...

I'll be moving to Tennessee at the end of this summer (right around August 1)! Mr.Imsohappythatiama got into Vanderbilt to puruse his MBA, so Nashville, here we come!!!

I will be proud to call myself a Tennessee greek....even if it's only for our two-year stay in Nashville!

Born and raised in Memphis, started school at Tennessee State University (Alpha Beta Chapter) in Nashville, and now back home at the University of Memphis!!:cool:

This is a mild thread crash. I was a K-town resident from 1990 to 1993, seven years before I became Greek, and know Silverblue.:) ;)

Guess what, Steeltrap? A couple of weeks ago, I finally won first place for my headlines in SPJ's regional Golden Press Card contest. I came in second the previous three years, so I REALLY wanted first this year.
