Just as I was wondering when I would get it, the hard copy came! Very interesting reading, lol.

BTW, I thought it was noteworthy that the fraternity was founded in 1904 but alumnae advisors weren't approved to work with collegian chapters until 1915! Wonder what happened in between?

Publisher said it was mailed out Feb 28 and would take 1-2 weeks.

Besides alum info, does it have an cool featured sections or anything?

lists by profession/industry I think.

Letter from Suzanne, Lists of Alumnae Groups, Mission Statement, Historic Highlights, IHQ, Wearers of Circle of EP, Our Founders, AGD Purpose, Intl Pres's, IHQ, Chapters by Name, Guide to Director, Alumnae Listings (Bio, Chapter, Geographical (State/City), and Occupation.

I don't know when the drop-dead cut-off for address/email updates was. Some might be more accurate on the website. For those that are "lost", it doesn't list the last known address.

It will be interesting to see what the CD is like.. if we can sort by our own preferences..whatever they may be...

how do you go about ordering a directory? this is the first i've heard about it.

Emails (and maybe letters to those without email addresses on record at IHQ) were sent to alumnae last fall.

Still waiting for mine...I'll probably get it in a few months or so, just like my Quarterly :(

Now I have to eat my words because my Directory arrived in the mail this afternoon! Its very interesting reading! ;)

UGH! My whole life has changed since I turned in that info for the directory. Oh well... wonder if it will be forwarded to my new address.

I got my directory in the mail today also. I really like it a lot. I am also very surprised at how many AGD's in my area are keeping their info current with IHQ. I really need to get going more on the JC/Alum Club (I had to put it on hold for awhile...Lisa (AGDBirmingham) I will write you more on it soon! :) )!

Got mine the other day but finally installed it a few minutes ago!

TOTALLY COOL!! So much easier to read than the book..had to use my magnifier for that one!;) :D

Too bad IHQ can't do automatic updates via the internet to update info as they get it. I know they send updates to the Alumnae Chapter's Perm. Secretary.

Oh well.. may be in the future:D

Wow...Lynn's already moved up with the CD directory...I finally got the hard copy in the mail today! I knew it was going to be huge...and it's darn heavy!

My hardcopy doubles as a book end for my Alpha Gam stuff!

does anyone know if they are going to be offering these again or if the one y'all got earlier in the year is still available? i don't remember having the opportunity to buy one and i was just thinking about how it would be nice to have..

Usually the printer only prints as many as they receive orders for. However, why don't you call IHQ and see if perhaps you can still get one? They will probably be able to direct you to the printer who can answer that question.
