Got my official membership card and signed certificate in the mail today from Delta Gamma. Cool beans!

I have been asked just this afternoon to write a full page article for the Summer Anchora on alumna initiation! The article will be about boring old ME!

As for the card, ask EO for yours because I have read in DG regional conference materials that more and more of the site will become password protected and you will need your memership ID # to access it. It is a hard plastic card similar to a credit card with your name, the crest, id #, chapter and school the chapter is affiliated with on it.

YAY! Congrats Marie-- I just got mine too, and my initiation was last fall. The membership card is especially cool.

I just sent off my $5 USD to get one of those cards. I can't wait to receive it! :)

I'm so glad I wandered into this thread! I didn't relize there was an actual 'CARD'...I assume you fill out the paperwork at your Senior Farewell, unfortunately, I missed mine due to an emergency gall bladder removal surgery! I'm getting my form in right away!

BTW...DGMarie...I'm having a small article in the Summer Anchora too! It's about the group that I've started for military affiliated DG's. I posted about it on the DG forum. They'll be a picture and everything! I'm really excited! 'SEE' you there!

I think the card is a brand new thing...the thinking behind it is so that you have your member no. handy, in case you have to call EO for something.
I just got my card (I ordered it) a few weeks ago and I love it. It's very nice to have and keep Delta Gee close by at all times!

I just got the copy of my article this past Tuesday. It will appear in the September issue now. They are doing an article on AI alone and then a sidebar in my own words about my experience. Cool beans! Can't wait to see yours!

I ordered mine as soon as you talked about it! They had a form on the EO site, and I mailed it and got it VERY quickly! YEAH! It is really cool!

No one told me about this card thing! lol It must be new! I'll have to order mine! Marie, I too am in the article with Adrienne (ajuhdg). We have our pic beside a huge tank! I miss her so much! Now she gets to go to the Walmart in America while I sit in Germany and deal with limited shopping hours and a strong euro! Oh well!

HMMM I'm not sure. Marie may have an answer. I can't think of much besides scanning the article in but I'm sure the resolution would be poor. We could type the articles word for word I guess.

I think it will be in autumn 2003's Anchora magazine. DG puts their magazines up on their website in pdf format, so you should be able to read it there when the time comes....no need to type word for word...ha ha!! :)
