i hate vodka
 

vodka is evil and the bane of my existence. my head hurts.

I hate Vodka too.

And Rum.

And Gin.

And SoCo....

And whatever else I had last night.

last nite (in order):

LA tea

margarita

about 6 shots of vodka

Vodka + Me = No Good

My stomach hurts just thinking about it.

stomach hurts, head hurts, arm hurts (ran into a corner last nite in the dark)

I can drink anything and be fine...

But when you give me vodka .....my face starts getting red. BRIGHT RED!!! It looks kinda freakish....

i don't drink much, most times i'm sober at the party or even at the bar. don't need no liquid courage.

I have a really low tolerance and so I'm not a terribly huge drinker, but I do like vodka sprite.

I hate cheap liquor.

A good vodka is distilled well enough that it doesn't induce hangovers in the 'traditional' way - that is, usually hangovers are caused by impurities in the alcohol. In general, these impurities will add to any coloration; vodka is clear due to the better distillation process used to create it.

Drink some water/gatorade, sport - the gatorade will replenish salts, and make you thirsty so you'll drink more water, because most likely you feel like ass due to dehydration, rather than a hangover.

When I was a freshman (wow, I sound old just saying that) I used to do staraight vodka shots... ugh... like double shots... I would be f*ed up...

I cant drink vodka anymore...

Last night:

7 beers + 1 kamikaze shooter + 2 tequila shots = really bad hangover

I'm doing okay today, surprisingly enough.

It's a bad idea to drink champagne, vodka and beer all on the same night.

Just make sure to drink plenty of water. KSig RC is right, alcohol dehydrates you - simple dehydration can cause hangover-like symptoms such as a headache.

Yes it is...much better than tequila or gin or vermouth or whiskey...or even beer, at least when it comes to hangovers. I have migraines and my doctor gave me a list of foods/beverages I should eat/drink because they won't cause headaches and vodka was the only alcohol on it. Remember to drink water or gatorade and everything is fine the morning after.

Don't mind vodka, never had a bad experience....

Stay away from Keystone Ice...that stuff always kicks my ass. The only times I've puked this year have come from drinking that stuff...coming from a kid who was nicknamed Sir Pukes-a-lot pledge semester. (I've gotten over that)

Vodka and I ended our relationship when it took me one too many places I should not have gone. :p Bloody Marys are still OK, but I figure they have extra vitamins & such in them.

Vodka is actually my drink of choice because I don't hurt much the day after if I stick to one type of liquor. Last night I stuck to Baybreezes and after a couple glasses of water I was feeling ok today.

When I first started drinking, I would take straight shots of Absolut Citron and suck a lemon wedge dipped in sugar right after. Yum-my! :) Now, I prefer Absolut Mandarin...

Beer is good too, but it makes me feel really full, which sometimes leads to getting sleepy. Champagne kicks my ass the next day, but it's a great buzz during.

Tonight I'm hating tequila. Blech! Went out with some co=workers to TGI Friday's after work and let me tell you!! Damn shots of tequila = $5 a piece!!! :eek: Didn't find that out 'til I got my bill. My goodness!! With what I spent on shots, I could've gone to the liquor store and bought me a really good sized bottle of some Cuervo!!

For some odd reason no matter how much vodka I drink, I won't even get a nice buzz...and yes..that's even after I wait awhile..I know it's creeper drink :)

But...two shots of Yukon Jack will get me everytime...oye...

Whatever ya do... don't get sh*t-faced on Bacardi 151, Stroh 160 (an Austrian 'rum' that tastes like butterscotch and kicks your a**!) or Everclear. You'll be hurtin' bigtime the next morning and getting drunk off your own power boot! (That was in my younger, wilder days, once is enough, thank you! :D)

I love vodka... but only if it is Ketel One.

As a self-proclaimed alcoholic, vodka is my liquor of choice.:D
I love Absolut, Skyy, Smirnoff (all the flavors) and esp. Grey Goose. Actually all of my favorite drinks have vodka in them. I try to stay away from dark liqour at all costs--my first drink EVER was a shot of Hennessey.........:eek:

My nickname was "FDP" ! :D we would have Flaming Dr. Pepper races and I used to be able to beat most guys. I don't know about now though...

for next time....fill the first part of the shooter with white zambuca = silver bullets.

I really like wet vodka martinis. Black Russians ain't too bad either.

Vodka's ok...I'm a big fan of White and Black Russians, and there are a few other drinks with vodka that I don't mind...but I'd have to say it's one of my least favorites, I had a couple bad experiences freshman year, since then I've been weary of it.
