procrastinators unite!!
 

I procrastinate everything under the sun. I would love to get things done early but I guess I work better under pressure??
I dont want to be under pressure. I just rather do other things like watch tv reruns, lay down in my bed and stare at the ceiling, annoy my sister, eat ice cream, do laundry, chat on gc.....
I have got a paper due tomorrow. I started it but I cant seem to want to finish. When it comes to my math homework, I dont start on it until an hour before the class.... I think procrastination is a disease, but on the other hand the time i am wasting is being spent on mindless activities. who can say no to that? I am procrastinating right now...oohh!!!!!!!!

Maybe my room needs cleaning....

Yep.. I've been saying that for years!! In fact, I think I've said it so many times, I have begun to believe it :p

Me too . . . I'm terrible at it. And it gets worse and worse every semester. In fact, right now I should be writing a paper and/or studying . . . but am I? :p

I have an interview tomorrow for a really competitve college programme. I have to have 4 things prepared, i am done about half of the first thing, I am on here right now when I am supposed to be writing a treatment for my portfolio. YAAAAA for procrastination.

well, i am still working on my paper. all that time passed by and what do i have to show for it? a paragraph. ugh!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I too have been bitten by the procrastination bug

I remember all the way back to elementary school when my parents would yell at me for starting my projects the night before and staying up all night. I have ALWAYS told myself that I work better under pressure... part of that is true, but then there are other times when I turn in papers that I know I could have done better on had I not started the night before.

My latest case of procrastination came yesterday when my law take home midterm was due. It was due at 2pm Tuesday, and I started the night before at 4am! Or my classic procrastination story... starting a 20 page term paper the night before! Absolute nightmare!!!

Thanks. Now its time to finish reading the book that i have a quiz on Friday. It has 209 pages and I am on page 100:eek:

I have THREE midterms next week. yikes. I have been telling myself to study for these for... hmm.. about a week or two... but I'm DEFINATELY going to do it tomorrow since 2 of my classes are not meeting.

I have accounting homework :mad: and a biology project to finish and I haven't had any sleep the past well really quarter...but I just have no motivation.

Oh, me too! Really, I do. :D

I'm the absolute worst procrastinator--case in point, i'm typing this and not studying for my exam that's tomorrow. But last year, the night before I was leaving for Acapulco for spring break, I started my 15 page paper. I was furiously typing away while packing the morning I was leaving. I don't know how I finished it, let alone how I got an A on it! I was so tired from pulling the all-nighter that I pretty much passed out for nearly the whole plane ride there. On the plane I sat next to the hottest guy who was also going to Acapulco and I was so exhausted I didn't talk to him! Damn procrastination!

that is like me. i was trying to finish my paper, but it is a little hard when i have that window open and gc's window open. i keep going back and forth. it took 6 hours to finish something that i could have easily done in 2. oh and i am at school right now typing this when i could be reading that book that i have due tomorrow!

I'm actually doing a book report on procrastination. For a seminar class, we have to choose something we'd like to better ourselves on and report about it. It's pretty interesting learning about the different reasons why people procrastinate and it tends to be a very shameful process in people.
I'm still working on a paper that I have an incomplete on from last semester, due in a week and I still havent done research on it. Sigh......:(

I'm really fascinated with this! After your report is over could you share with us what you learned?

Will do-I just need to stop procrastinating and read the damn thing!:D

i just started on a 4-5 page paper that is due this thursday. i have to read a 200+ page book by next thursday. i am on page 12:(

I was planning to apply to two graduate programs. However, for some reason I keep putting off and putting off. Oh well, I start on it next week!

I am trying to give the procrastinating bug a good swat, but it isn't easy.

This thread makes me SO HAPPY that I graduated. Now I can procrastinate freely at work. Oh joy.

Actually I do think I work better under pressure... or at least that's what I would keep telling myself while furiously typing a paper a few hours before it's due. But more often than not, I'd bang out a paper, and be like whoa this is pretty good. I guess it's the whole journalism thing, I'm used to working under deadlines.
