Ugh, My potential formal date said....
 

I just asked this guy I like to my formal and he said that he would get back to me. Should I just wait and see what he say's or just ask someone else? Or should I just go by myself? We'll I had heard that he wanted to go with me so I decided to ask him. Well I guess you can't listen to rumor.

I just found out that the guy I had asked said something really mean about me. I heard from a friend that he said that early yesterday. I had called him last night. One of my sorority sisters said that I should talk to him to see if he really said it or to see if its just a rummor. I'm not sure what I should do. I'm to the point I just don't want to talk to him anymore. Should I find out if he said something or just forget about him.

I had a great time at formal and my dress was so pretty. I did happen to go with a date but he was a friend and I had a great time with my sisters and getting to know the alumni.

The other guy is a jerk and I am so glad that he didn't say yes.

i went with my boyfriend, but our formal story is kind of interesting.... it was supposed to be at planet hollywood in toronto (which would have been amazing), but we ended up not being able to go because, oh yeah, there's a deadly plague there :(

but the girls threw one together in five days in syracuse and it ended up being really fun.... the pictures are on greekyearbook.com if you guys wanna see (we dont have a webpage, but i know i always like looking at pictures from our other chapters, so i guess greek yearbook is the best we can do)

anyway, i'm happy you and annice both ended up going with nice boys.... forget those other jerks

What kind of plague is at Planet Hollywood?

I get to go to Virgina Beach this weekend for my boyfriend's formal!!! I can't wait mainly because my current job doesn't allow too much time for vacations and stuff like that, so this might be one of the only times I get to get away!!!! Anyway, I am glad to see that fellow sisters are beginning to have good luck with formal dates. It seemed like there was a bad streak going on. Enjoy your week ladies... I know I will enjoy mine with this nice weather!

haha.... the plague is in toronto, not planet hollywood... it's that SARS (the deadly flu virus)... it only has a 3% death rate, but obviously, no one wants to take any chances

yeah...i'm slightly peeved the school i work with cancelled their trip to T.O. for June....I've no fear of SARS, it may not be totally controlled there yet but it's not gone wild....and I should be scared since i'm asthmatic it would prolly hit me hard if i got it...oh well, i'm still prolly gonna go to TO anyway....


as for formal dates....congrats on finding your man! The first phi sig formal i ever went to I took my (female) cousin...and the last one i went to alone...but i'm casual like that....

ANOTHER UPDATE

So Sapphire Ball for Theta Mu was last night and I had a blast!!

Everyone looked beauitful! ~Of course we did because we are Phi Sig (just kidding...ok not really but I had to put it ;) )

Oh and by the way
My date, Josh was the greatest! We had a lot of fun. He was (is) such a sweetheart and I just kept thinking thank goodness I asked him!!

I even got a very nice goodnight kiss. (woohooo!!) (he didn't leave till 4am!)
Ok so you can all tell that I am still gleaming after one of the best sapphire balls ever.
