Maybe he'll learn to play nice next time. It did take me getting banned to learn how to play by the rules.

You know, he's actually decent guy. His whole point was to see how long it would take for himself to get banned.

He may have made a few people pissed off, but seriously...who hasn't done that on here? I just wish some people would take all these posts with a grain of salt. I know I've been pissed off (and probably pissed a few folks off) by threads on here, but the longer I post on GC, the more bs (I have learned) I can put up with:)

Sorry people, I rather have Steven over Ufpike anyday on GC. Steven is a cool decent guy if u get to know him outside of GC. He actually treats women with respect unlike some people we know on here. And if you read his posts, they r sarcastic, and are mostly joking or inane comments, not to be taken seriously.

I have to agree with you Ally! I've talked to Steven a few times and he is everything you say.

It's nice that you feel that way, but not everyone agrees. A number of people were apparently offended by ol boy, so he had to go, period.

I personally don't care either way, but comparing him to UF Pike seems to be like potato, potaaaaato, lol.

I've been pretty quiet about the Steven situation till now....

It would probably be safe to assume that, but that wasn't the case.

Like some of you, I think I'm probably the only mod who was sad to see him go. The PMs I got from him have never been offensive or vulgar, unlike some of the PMs I've received from a few of the previously banned people on D's list. ;)

Since it was easy for D and UF_Pike to come back, I'm thinking champ will probably do the same.

With that said, I consider myself one of the most easily offended people here on GreekChat. It's weird that that wasn't the case with Imthechamp. If I could describe the contact I had with him in one word, it'd be pleasant...but I doubt you'd believe me.

So...ol' boy had a split personality.

*edited* Can we say "sexism"? ;) When a male member gets banned, members get a save so-and-so rally going on and downplay their bad behavior...but I must say that most of the banned female members did commit more serious offenses, such as intentionally revealing GLO secrets, 'cept for me of course.

I'm actually kinda sad. I did have him on my blocked list, but before I logged in, I would scan by some of his stuff. Like OTW, I consider myself easily offendable, but he was funny a lot of the time...he wasn't disrespectful to women or minorities, which goes a looooong way with me. If anything, he called a lot of people out on their hypocrisy and/or stupidity. There are way worse people on GC.

What one person terms hypocrisy or stupidity another person may call wisdom. He was certainly not respectful of alternate opinions and used very abrasive language (which was uncalled for) in the discussion of his ideas.

Seriously though... what are some of your ideas of what a "good man" would be? He may have been tolerable... but to hear ya'll term him a "good man" and speak of him so positively either means that there is a side to him that I have not seen or that your definition of a nice guy is different from mine.

Perhaps, this is the reason why so many women have relational problems. Good men are assholes. Not to say that ITC was one, i've seen much worse, but he definately was not a definition of a moral saint.

But hell, what do I know? Some assholes I can tolerate...if they have something going for them. They damn well better be atttractive, 6'2'', athletic, smart (but not the nerdy type), upperclass, humorous, come from a good family, etc. Damn near perfect.

I am baffled by statements like this. If he is actually a decent guy, why would he want to have a little contest for himself to see how long it took to get banned? If he is actually a decent guy, why would he derive pleasure by going around making stupid and/or insulting posts? Anyone who is "decent" in my opinion, reflects decency by treating others with respect, which, at least most of the time, he did not.

And shoot, now I'll have to find someone else to put on my "ignore" list. ;)
