Why did you kiss me? Did you not know the sweetness of your own lips? Where you unaware of the warmth of your embrace? When we met I loved you, but I put it out of my mind. I made myself believe that our talk was a chore. I tried to convince myself that we would never work, and to deny myself the privlenge of such fancy.

And then you kissed me. It was as if the breath of life was being issued me anew.

And then I gave into my fantasy. I let myself believe we would work and be in love. I communicated my desires of long lasting love, which did afright your gentle mind. I hurried my advances, and spooked your loving heart.

And now you are gone, and I shall never again know the absolute fondness of your embrace. Nor the love of an innocent heart.

I haunt our haunts to see if I can steal a glance of your sweet visage, but alas, my impure soul will not be granted such heavenly reprive. To love is to die. To love is to lose your self. To loose your self is to die. In giving yourself to another you give away your life. My life is my soul and I gave it to you, and I shall never gain it back.

Awww, I'm sorry. Unfortunately girls can be scared off as easily as guys do. Don't worry, though, you'll find another girl- one whose good enough for a sweet guy like you! ( I admit, I'm impartial, I have a soft spot for theta chis, I'm dating one myself :) )

Billy, that was the most romantic piece of prose I've ever read on GC. Reminds me of a line from a song-"Its only words but words are all I have to take your heart away."

If what you put on paper is in your heart and reflected in your actions, you will find the right one. A very young girl could find it too intense right off the bat, but someone who is ready too, just might be swept off her feet.

Optimist-- Wow!!! That girl is stupid to leave you!!!! WOW!!! Not all girls are afraid of commiment-- I usally scare guys off bc I make sure to let them know I want commitment; that word scares guys.
