Favorite Christmas Gift
 

Merry Christmas GCers! Hope everyone got what they wished for (and maybe even some stuff you didn't). What was your favorite gift that you received?

My favorite gift this year was a pretty simple one. My sister bought me the 2003 Anne Geddes calendar. I love her work and I wasn't excepting it, so that was a great gift! :)

my favorite girft was a straightenin g iron that has an edge that can curl your hair iether under or out!

Coulda been my 03 Accord. Or my new cell, or all the money? I dunno :p

I got four prints of Ansel Adams which I wanted and a 27 inch television which I also wanted. So I made out pretty darn well!

Well, since I could not get home because of the snow:( I played Santa to one of my best friends grand daughters on the phone last night, he told me to get my butt over as was really part of the Family. Went had a ball, and he gave me a shirt with an American Eagle with the flag behind it!

Well Dad called so am going to try to get down this weekend to spend some time with him as short as it will be.

My Tenderheart Bear CareBear. 18 years after I asked for Tenderheart Bear, my mum finally finds one. That was my best gift. I can't believe she remembered after all these years that that was the Care Bear I always wanted.

I collect Cherished Teddies, and I got a bunch of them! :)

One of the other moms from my son's school and I run around together while our kids are in preschool, and she surprised me with a new release that really fits. She's the only real friend I have here, and the bear is titled "Your friendship lifts my spirit."

The best was what I got at our family gathering last night, though. I asked my dad for a limited edition bear for my birthday and I didn't get it. :( My mom found it, and she hid it for 6 months. She bought one for me while I was with her several months ago, and that was what I expected. Instead of getting the one I knew about, I got the LE I had asked for last year. Yay!

This should go under guilty pleasures too! I got the Sims Deluxe Edition (comes with SimCreator and the Livin' Large expansion pack)! I love the Sims and now I finally don't have to borrow other peoples copies when I want to play! haha!

The best present I got this year was a phone call. On Christmas eve (already Christmas day in England) one of my best friends called me for about half an hour. I haven't seen him since August so I was VERY excited! That one phone call made my entire holiday!

I don't know which to pick but my top 3 favorite gifts are my iPod (it's an mp3 player), my North Face fleece.....YAY I have been wanting this for years!!!. and a HUGE bottle of Ralph Lauren Glamourous....I wasn't expecting this since I knew I had already gotten my two "big" gifts but I got this as a stocking stuffer, I was pumped!!! I got lots of Gap clothes, tons of new matching bras and underwear from Victoria Secrets, a bunch of DVD's, and lots of Lilo & Stitch stuff too. (since I am obsessed!!!) This Christmas ROCKED!!!!!! It was also the first time in 3 years that my mom, dad, brother, and I have all been in the same place at once. Every year at least one, if not more, of us is gone, so this year was awesome to be all together!!! :D Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!

I got to see my cousin Cathi, which was wonderful since I have not in two years!
I also got two left boots, which was the biggest hoot. I opened the box to try this beautiful pair of carmel colored boots on, and low and behold the store had put two boots of the same foot in the box. Strangely, this is the second time this has happened to me.

I GOT TICKETS TO SEE THE TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA....oh how i love them... and i got a video camera/digital camera combo thingy...woohoo...:)

The gift that meant the most to me this year was when my Dad gave me the silver Captains Bars he wore when he held that rank. Now that I have been recalled I will wear them with pride and hopefully with honor and with a little luck.

this is going to sound stupid... but i was just hoping for cash... and i did get some. I need it to buy my digital camera. I also got a gift certificate to Warehouse to replace the CDs that were stolen from my car last month.
Actually, the best gifts weren't mine. I gave my dad Episode 2 but I actually wanted it myself. ANd my brother got AP Goldmember and I was so happy.
But i got a pair of khaki corduroys that I have been oogling over for about a year now. YAY!

My daughter gave me a Pat Benatar CD. (I was always begging her to download her music for me.) Our son gave us a cell phone so we can work outside and not have to run in the house when it rings.

The best was my daughter saying "Lets make Christmas breakfast." I cook sooooo much, this was the FIRST time to make ANY breakfast special. She made the pancakes and eggs I did the Canadian bacon and set the table. Though it was early, even my son got out of bed. :eek: It really is the little things that mean a lot!:D

My Godmother sent me a picture of feet.

For Fall Break, my Big, one of my girlfriends and my young man and I all went down to Virginia Beach. When we got there, it was wicked warm for October, so we went to the beach and played in the sand. When we were all done, my Godmother stood us all in a circle, and took a picture of our sandy feet. I always wanted a copy of that picture, and she found it, put it in a frame decorated with shells and sent it to me.

Mum and Dad got me a digital camera. This also rocked hardcore, and I'm going to try it out when I go to New Jersey with my pals for New Year's.

My favorite gift this year has to be the Irish claddagh ring my boyfriend gave me. It's so simple and pretty, yet has so much meaning and tradition behind it.

His mother also told him how great we are together and how she has a feeling that I'm "the one". It's always nice to get the mom's stamp of approval! :D

I got a new 6CD player and speakers installed in my car! That has to be my favorite!

Probably my flat screen t.v from my parents..it goes very well w/my home theater system they bought me last year :) My room is now offically a theater :) :)

But.....my Gone In 60 Seconds "Elenor" model and GI60S Japanese flyer from my boyfriend comes pretty close also :)
