Let the Trash Talking Begin
Giants 500 - Eagles 0
|
Try this.
Giants lose in first round of playoffs and Eagles get the #1 seed and still lose their first game. 49ers will win it all. |
Dude, I hope the Giants slaughter the Eagles next week. That win against Indy was awesome, they tore apart Indy's brutal defense, and have actually played pretty well the last few weeks since the Houston loss. I absolutely HATE the Eagles, beating them to get to the playoffs will be sweet.
As for the 49ers...well, I hate them too, but with the NFL the way it is this year, who knows. Collin |
IMO:
The NFC Super Bowl rep will either be the Tampa Bay Chuckies, featuring dropback Brad Johnson and mouthy Warren Sapp, or the Green Bay Favres. I like San Francisco, but I can't excuse Terrell Owens. As for the AFC, it's a tossup. |

But seriously, you guys know The Bucs will win it all. Come on now. |

I like Tony Dungy, but it was probably a time for a change in Tampa. Besides, Tampa has USC alumnus and restaurateur Keyshawn Johnson (who has a mahvelous restaurant in L.A. called Reign ;) ) who makes T.O., Randy Moss and Plaxico Burress look like amateurs in the trash-talking sweepstakes. |

Yeah, Indy's "BRUTAL" d - figures lie, liers figure, Indy's defense still isn't top-tier (although Dungy's doing an amazing job w/ them) We'll see what happens next week, chuckles - Philly will demolish the g'ints |
The Philly game will be a close one. I heard Koy will play. AJ did well, but time for the better fit for our offense to come back. This will be a defensive battle for sure.
Don't worry jint fans, the aints are on there yearly choke fest so the jints still will get in. And Tampa, winning the super bowl? I would put Seattle in front of Tampa, seriously. Don't get me started on the paper champion Bucs. |

Just because I live in the Dallas area doesn't automatically make me a fan of that so-called 'America's Team'. (And who made 'em 'America's Team, anyway? :D)
I wouldn't be surprised if Dave Campo gets his walking papers from Jerry Jones after next week's game. |
Bye, Campo
I think you're right. Who do you think will be the next coach? The local poobahs are talking Bill Parcells...

Indy's D is one of the five worst in football - they looked like a bunch of Pop Warner 10 year olds out there, and have played crappy all year. That said...I still think the Giants can pull it out...it'll still be one hell of a game regardless. |
The officiating in the Giants/Eagles game has been brutal.
Two touchdowns taken away by very quetsionable holding calls. To be fair, there have been some horrible calls against the Eagles too. In a game with as much importance as this, you'd think the officiating would at least be decent. Jeremy Shockey rules. Collin |
Typical iggs-giants game. I think McNabb is needed if the eagles want to make it to the super bowl.

Anyway - messy fucking game, but the Giants definitely deserved the win, although it was nice to see ol' Tiki dropping the ball like he was Rashan Salaam, too bad Philly couldn't capitolize (AJ Feely . . . ugh) |

Barber has had a pretty decent season so far (around 1300 yards), so I couldn't really fault him for having a bad game. He Toomer and Shockey had really nasty seasons though, best offensive seasons since the Joe Morris/Mark Bavaro days. Collin |
Giants up big on the 49ers...they're on a roll, who knows what's going to happen..
Collin |
Well, I was wrong.
I misjudged the Giants ability to do the following: Miss big field goals. Stop the 49ers on defense Get the offense going with a big lead. Basically play like a playoff team. I am so pis**d off right now I cannot describe it. I hate the 49ers. |
STEELERS
ALL THE WAY |
Quote:
I'm hoping for an all-Cali Super Bowl, although I'm a SoCal. But I'm intrigued by the Atlanta Vicks. :D |
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
|
The Steelers got lucky, period. Unless they suddenly start playing well, there's no way they're going to the Superbowl. What is it about the city of Pittsburgh that puts them in a massive state of denial? As much as I love the Browns, most of Cleveland was shocked they were going to the playoffs. The Steelers win one game and you'd think they were god's gift to football. They almost lost to the Browns, and they almost lost to the Ravens in their last game of the season. Like they're going to make it past Tennessee.
