Okay, DAYS is getting really stupid again. How is it possible that he's Tony DiMera's brother?!? He's been "Roman," a priest, Lawrence Alamaine's brother, and Stefano's "pawn" mercenary. I think DAYS thinks it's viewers just don't remember. :rolleyes:

Shoot, I still haven't gotten past Chris Kositchek running around town impersonating Roman. WTF is THAT all about???!?! :p

huh?! someone tell me what i'm missing...

The writers are trying to write stories for the same actors decades after decades. Next thing will be that "Roman" will turn out to be Marlene's other long lost child!!

I used to love Days, but stopped watching it when Bo and Hope took FOREVER to get back together, and then the baby thing with Lexie. FRUSTRATING! Might have to tune in, I'm sure the story line can't have changed THAT much! Update me somebody!

The guy that plays Roman used to be on DAYS as a character named Chris Kositchek.

I (embarassingly) have watched Days off and on for about 6 years! (I actually owned the ultimate Days book for awhile) It's funny to just laugh at all the ridiculousness--how do the actors keep straight faces with some of the plots they have to do?
What really surprised me was how the teenagers grew up overnight, and Belle and Shawn are somehow the same age despite him being about 11 when she and Brady were toddlers. (Do you guys remember that?)

I am only 22 years old, and I can remember watching Days when I was 5 with my mom. I don't have time to watch it anymore, but I can almost guess that if I turned it on tomorrow, the same things would still be going on! And have you ever noticed the time warps that soap operas have? They are either stuck in one day for like a month or so or they are jumping from years in episodes. Funny how that works. Wish I could manage my life like that.

I too am a Days fanatic. I can remember watching it with my mother when I was 8 and I still watch it to this day. Nowadays I never miss an episode for my VCR tapes it everyday. As for the craziness that goes on, I love it! I think that is what keeps me interested. You never know who the next child's father is or who will be possessed next. And for some reason I catch myself rooting for the bad guys. It did bother me that Sean D was 13 and Belle was 5 and now they are they same age and dating. O well that's how the Days go.

Aren't Belle and Shawn technically stepcousins? Roman and Bo are brothers, Roman was married to Marlena, although John was Belles father. Guess there is no blood relation...

Pretty much. Not that it makes much difference, but Roman and Bo are half brothers...they have the same mother - Caroline - but Bo is biologically Victor's son. Also, John is Victor's son-in-law, and hence Bo's half-brother-in-law through his marriage to Isabella. So, they have that going on too. Whoosh! Lots of relations on DAYS. :o

Who was Carrie's mother, and how does Tony factor into all of that?

I was talking to someone about all of the DiMera children, and I got all confused! I tried looking it up, but I couldn't find anything.

Oh, and what's up with Tony being John's brother??

Carrie's parents are Roman and Anna. Anna was married to Tony for a while, so Carrie was his step-daughter.

Originally it was just Tony (I think), then it was Tony and Lexie, and now appartantly John. Also, Stefano adopted Kristen and Peter Blake, and genetically engineered the "alien" twins. Am I missing anyone?

Question: Why do they keep saying "Oh my God, John and Tony are brothers!" Why don't they say anything about "Oh my God, John is Stefano's son!" or "John and Lexie are brother and sister too!" Why is it only about Tony?!?

The baby is obviously Brandon's. Think about it. How long did Abe and Lexie try before the adoption? And lo and behold, one night with Brandon = pregnant Lexie.

As much as I know I'm going to hate this story, at least the DAYS writers had the good sense to let some time pass before Lexie found out she was pregnant. How many Soaps have characters sleep together and by the end of the week...oh my goodness...the woman "knows" she's pregnant! :rolleyes:

LOL you're right! I suppose the distinction between Tony and Lexie could have something to do with the fact that she didn't know who her parents were. After all, Celeste was her Aunt Frankie until she found the graves of her "parents," which just happened to be over 100 years old. Maybe Tony and John are half-brothers by their mother?

Oh, and while I'm thinking of it, did Craig tell Chloe she's his daughter yet? I'm guessing no...

Yeah, I guess that's possible, but I thought the whole drama was that John is a DiMera (by Stefano).

Can someone explain how Chloe can possibly be Craig's daughter...? Oh wait, we're talking about DAYS...if Zack can be Bo's son, I guess Chloe can be Craig's even though Chloe was supposed to be born before Nancy and Craig got together.

I dunno, I'm still crossing my fingers for Steve and Kayla to come back one day.

You have a point about the drama, but I guess I was going with their hatred toward each other being so strong that it wouldn't matter how they're brothers.

I knew something was up with Nancy not wanting to give any clues as to Chloe's paternity, but I was thinking something more horrible than Craig. How long have they supposedly been together? I've never heard any reference to the first meeting.

I don't know, the only think I think they've ever said was that Chloe was born to Nancy when she was a teen.

Isn't Nancy an RN, or was a candy striper or something? I think my original impression was that they'd met in a hospital or other related area. Maybe I'm just losing my mind, though.

I remember hearing Chloe was born when Nancy was a teen, so that + her reluctance to admit paternity got ugly in my mind. I never thought that Dr. Sykes or whatever his name is was going to be her father, though. Not that I suspected it was Craig -- until he did the DNA test on himself.

I was really disappointed in myself since I can tell exactly what's going to happen for the next month from one hour, and I missed that. lol

It was my understanding that Graig and Nancy were together when she was a teen but then he went away to school and it was during that time that she was raped. So she must have already been pregnant when Dr. Sykes raped her.

Okay, at least one of us remembers catching that! ;)

Shawn was way older than Belle when it started, but now they are both the same age and go out. He was 10 when she was like 3.
Abby was about 4 when Shawn was 10, but she has only manage to age about 3 years
Ok can someone tell me also how Phillip (can't stand his butt) was a baby and suddenly is older than, Will who has only manage to age about 5 years, but Phillip is now way older than him?

I read somewhere that Matt Cedeno (Brandon) has Cuban and African American heritage from Dad as well as mixed European from Mom. I got to meet Matt and get my picture w/him. It was great! :D
