Your Number

In reference to number of sexual partners...

After a conversation with some friends today, I think a lot of people have quite a double standard with this. Because, according to the guys in our discussion today, the majority of them felt it was alright for a guy's number to be higher than a girl's. So, when you hear someone's number, what seems inexperienced, just about right, too much, and dirty? Does a double standard exist with this?

sororitygirl2 12-11-2002 10:36 PM

I don't think it's okay for either to be too high!!! :)

I like the whole take from American Pie 2...how if a girl says she's been with a few you should multiply that number by two and if a guy tells you his number you should subtract 3 (or something to that extent). Kinda true because women aren't thought highly of if their number is too high...yet men are considered gods if theirs is higher.

Just my take!

If I meet a guy with 10 or more...it's usually a simple bow.

If I meet a guy with 20 or more...I usually get on my knees and bow my head. That is quite an accomplishment.

Oh yeah...I wouldn't get with a girl who had more then 5. Anything more is a HOE.

This is funny. I'd like to know a few things.

First, where do you live? How old are you?

I can understand the girl number, pending on the girl being in her 20's. However, more than 5 does not make her a hoe. If all girls were honest with you then you'd probably wouldn't be having sex if you truly think like that.

As for the guy number, 20, where I'm at that's kinda low. Most guys here start getting worried about STDs around 40 or until something pops up. Most girls here are worried right after each sexual encounter, but only for a day or two.

40? Somebody's been busy

Imthechamp 12-12-2002 09:11 AM

Yeah...40? You prolly deserve a gold medal for knocking down that many women.

Oh yeah, from Cali.

Three 12-18-2002 07:35 PM

Who said I'm a guy or that I can knock women up? Stop assuming too much.;) That number is based on a lot of guys myself and a few others come in contact with.

It makes me so angry when I hear a guy say he would not touch a girl that had been with more than five guys, and yet, he has been with over 20, and expects her to sleep with him. Isn't he just as dirty?? Seriously, think about it, dont even get into the morals, and double standards and crap like that. A guy who sleeps with ten people and a girl who sleeps with ten people are EQUALLY dirty and have an equal chance of gettng an STD, REGUARDLESS of what freaking sex they are!!!!!! And for this matter, are they dirty if they dont have an STD? That makes no sense. Say a girl sleeps with one guy, but she got herpes from him, and another girl has slept with 20, but has no STD's whatsoever. WHO IS DIRTY?? Pretty sure the experienced girl's shit is clean, and I personally would rather sleep with her, shes probably better in bed anyways. Logic is flawed, boys.

Imthechamp 12-18-2002 08:39 PM

I think you're the girl in the story who slept with one guy and got an STD.

Which one was it? :(

justhey76 12-18-2002 09:08 PM

Hmmmmmmmm...That makes no sense that I would be that girl with one partner, when I was defending the girl who had a billion partners and was clean. Good reasoning skills though, champ. Keep up the good work.

I think that judging someone on his/her number is foolish. If you're careful and healthy, the number of sexual partners you've had makes absolutely no difference. I have a don't ask, don't tell policy when it comes to numbers.

In my experience, if a guy ever gets worked up about a woman's number being higher than his, it's because he's insecure and afraid that he doesn't measure up to her expectations and past experiences.

justhey76 12-18-2002 09:16 PM

Well said. It should not matter how many people you have been with, as long as you are careful. Also, lots of partners does NOT mean lots of experience. A guy could sleep with 25 grls, and only have had sex 50 times (if they were mostly one night stands), whereas another could have only slept wth ten girls, and had sex 1000 times (if he was in a relationship, or at least a phyisical relationship with some of them).

It's nice to know we have someone who will try to justify being a slut.

*Sigh* There just aren't enough people like you.

Quick lesson for some of you, if the sex is off the chain....one of you is a slut.

( Please note that being a slut and being dirty are two entirely different things.)
