Where'd it go?

I can't find my Resivoir Dogs DVD. What do you do to find things you've misplaced?

Generally I clean. When I lose stuff it's usually because it's buried under a bunch of things that needed to be thrown away.

AchtungBaby80 12-02-2002 12:32 AM

I ask St. Anthony (the patron saint of lost objects) to help me find it...and it usually turns up.

aephi alum 12-02-2002 09:22 AM

When I was growing up, if I lost anything, it usually turned up in the basement.

Now, I call the missing item - like you'd call a cat or dog. "Here, keys keys keys keys keys... heeeere, keys..." Believe it or not, it works :)

I go get a new one. The old one always turns up then. I just make sure to keep the receipt of the new one so I can take it back.

I'm glad someone else does this too...everyone at school looks at me weird when I tell them this, but it works, honestly! :D

He's the patron saint of lost objects, and St. Jude is the patron saint of lost causes. I often ask the latter for help with term papers.

Rio_Kohitsuji 12-02-2002 10:45 PM

It's either...

*under my bedsheets
*at my computer
*in the grandkids toybox (there are 6 suspects that put various things here..)

If my MIA item isn't in any of these places, it's a lost cause.

OUlioness01 12-02-2002 11:14 PM

everything either turns up in my bed or under it

Billy what the hell is resivouiry Dawgs anyway?:)

Hell, the best way to find something is to go out and buy another copy and it will stand out on the pile with flashing lites!

Know only to well, voice of experience!:D Works every time!:)

Peaches-n-Cream 12-03-2002 01:20 AM

Did you find it? If not, I hope that you do. :)

Dionysus 12-03-2002 01:31 AM

I have a tendacy to space out when I'm doing certain things so I find things in the oddest places, for example I once put my keys in the fridge. :o

Peaches-n-Cream 12-03-2002 01:37 AM

I just found the sugar bowl in the fridge. :p

juniorgrrl 12-03-2002 01:39 AM

I usually ask St. Anthony for help as well. And I put myself in the place of the item. I ask "If I were my keys, where would I be...?"
(It doesn't really work, but it usually makes others laugh :) )

YAY!!! I'm glad you found it!! :D

On a kind of related note, when I was little my mom would always say "Wouldn't you know that this (whatever she was looking for) is in the last place I'd look!".....I used to say that too when I was younger, once I got older though I realized well duh of course it is, b/c who keeps looking for it after they found it? Oh well. ;)

justamom 12-05-2002 09:11 AM

St. Anthony!!! :D

Cream! How funny. I"ve put some pretty odd things in there as well, but it may be due to................memory!
